Did he ever use it? If I were making a custom Filmation figure would I include it? TY

He used it on few occasions, like in "Colossor awakes" when He-Man boards The Collector.

You could always try trimming the end, and then put a little dab of crazy glue on the end. Or go to a fabric store and ask the clerk if they have any similar string on sale.
