HE-MAN WORLD: Thank you!!!

I can't tell you how happy I am to see this new He-Man and She-Ra forum spring up. This was a real surprise, and something I know that most of my friends have been wishing for. After all the politics and censorship that have polluted He-Man.Org in the past few years, it is awesome to see a new forum made for the fans, that actually gives the fans a REAL voice! I wish this site nothing but the best in the years to come

hell I couldn't even GET into the org, it kept saying gmail was not a valid or accepted email address so to me the org was like Facebook when it first sprang up... super exclusive! But yes I agree thank you so much for setting this up!!!! Where ideas and opinions can run free!!

Yep, I feel the same. I parted company with He-Man.Org back in early 2010, getting on for four years ago, and never looked back. I don't want to be too nasty about it, because it was a place where I was very happy for a number of years and through which I made some fantastic friends - but, by the time I left it was unrecognisable from the place that I first joined.

I'm very busy now in my "offline" life, and to be honest once the New Year gets going you probably won't see a lot of me over here either - but, I'll stop by whenever I can! This forum has my full support, it's something that's been needed now for a long time. Huge kudos to the folks who've had the courage to start it up!

Me and my friend got banned for life from the Org because he logged into his account on my computer. Finally that site can fade away and a proper one can take it's place.

My posting dropped off sharply at the org ever since this whole nonsense came to light. It used to be a regular hangout of mine but what it's turned into has become quite smothering. So a big thanks to Captain Atkin and all involved for this site.

It's awesome to have more english-speaking forums. Latest one being the Shadow Weaver's Realm Forum and I think before that was spanish MOTULA forum.

Though I think many people are talking actively on Facebook Groups. There ARE A BUNCH of them! LOL!
Everyone has had so many places to talk there it's overwhelming at times. Also any news that hit the world of MOTU/POP is shared INSTANTLY on Facebook, which is another bonus for many fans commenting there.

Whatever happened to Masters: Infinita forum? Does anyone know?



I do have a question. Do people prefer talking on forums about topics. Or on Facebook groups? What's everyone's preferance?

I prefer forums. I appreciate the distance between aspects of my personality. I'm kinda a Kal/Clark/SUperman kinda guy...Also I like that on a forum, a topic has a longer life then on facebook. Especially since I don't use facebook very often.

Thanks for another board. I dont use the Matty board much. I still go to the org to read news and opinions. I hope this will be a new board with not to much duplication allthough some will be unavoidable. To be honest, I hope this board grows on its own positive strength and not by being negative about others. Lets see what the future brings and happy holidays!

Just wanted to say hello to everyone here. Haven't been a member of the Org for almost a decade now, very glad to see another forum show up.

What exactly happened over there this fall that has caused all the hate and mass exodus that I see here and on FB? Something to do with the Power-Con '13 Matty panel, or something else? In order to "stay positive" about MOTU, I've turned a blind eye to a few places.

Anyway I see a lot of great discussion, customs, and fan art already. Not to mention a lot of people who comments and postings I respect very much. Much love to everyone, happy new years, and cheers!

No, Shawn I used a different old one. I got into a bunk trade with an old mod in the 200x days, and he got way over the top scary and personal about it. Not sure if the guy is still around, who cares after over a decade. I cancelled my account and only started looking again only after Vikor came out. Cheers

After being a member for nearly 10 years with 10K + posts, I too saw a transformation in the org, and not for the betterment. I look forward to this new board, and hope that I can contribute to its success. I don't suspect we will all agree, and that we will all get along, but hopefully we can all speak freely without fear of infractions, or being singled out and punished if we don't jump on the We Love Mattel & Toyguru Train.

I just watched the Power-Con Panel on Youtube and pulled this quote from a comment.
"I can tolerate the Kid over that NERD *****ing over a skirt and a throne." I hope the guy who posted that comment finds a home here.

I understand the frustration of being heavily moderated. I can be some sometimes. But I'm also a hot head so...Anyone who reads my posts can see I do not like a lot of rules and I enjoy freedom of speech, (especially when I am expressing how much I HATE Mattel!) but The .Org isn't MY house. I didn't built it and I have never paid for it. I don't expect to have a voice in how it should be run. This place is different from the .Org. That's a good thing we can all appreciate. Diversification doesn't mean we have to start throwing rocks at each other. Some of us enjoying being members of both camps. I certainly hope this place doesn't just become "The anti.Org" ... That wouldn't be fun IMO.

So far this place seams pretty cool, and I havn't seen anyone attacking other people like they do on facebook and in Emiliano's blog comment section. That type of faction war is the WORST!

I love MOTU and making friends with other people who like MOTU...Doesn't everybody? ;-)
