I signed up for bricklink.

I haven't bought anything but I've been real tempted to.

This is a cool entrepreneurial little site that is operated by a kid and his mom (I guess), and I've seen similar brick ideas was done in the past done by fans. However, if you're a serious LEGO brick builder or a customizer, you need to join Bricklink.

Of course there are many other brick fan sites that offer custom minifig accessories and parts that will work with your LEGO bricks, such as BrickForge and BrickWarriors...
