    Most of my Trek friends hate this trailer, but I thought that was awesome!!!

      I hated it too. Not a huge Star Trek fan, but that was bad. I actually turned it off at first assuming it was a fake. Beastie Boys and Star Trek do not go together AT ALL!

          Some sad new being reported today. Actor Anton Yelchin, who plays Chekov in the new Star Trek movies, was killed in a car accident early this morning.

                Rihanna is actually a big Star Trek fan. She had sunglasses designed a few months ago to look like Geordie's visor from TNG.

                So what! Even if she has an Enterprise tattoo on her ass, that doesn't mean her voice is fit for that trailer I just saw!

                Her song is probably more suited for the ending credits...

                  So, have any of you seen this yet?

                  Do you recommend the movie theater experience or just wait until it comes out on Blu-ray/digital?

                    I saw it, and I enjoyed it. I liked it better than Into Darkness. This movie was the closest to the feel of the original series.

                    Ok I may watch it next Monday or Wednesday when I have the time.

                    For some reason, the original series never grew on me like the Next Generation did, but I liked the last two movies quite a lot...
