  • What represents MOTU / He-Man for you?

I had a conversation with a friend the other day. I was showing my collection to him and during the visit he asked me what motu mean's in your life ? Why He-Man ? the questions were interesting and really make me tought about it more. We all have our preferences it's maybe the cartoon for some and for other would be the toys etc.... but deeply inside of you what he-man represent for you ?

For me there's a mix of nostalgia and a real love about the entire universe of motu. I really hope to see a future for the wonderful world of motu (cartoon, movie and more) The other parts is inspiration. He-Man inspire me when I want to challenge myself and try to make a move to go foward in my life. It might sound a kind of religion but I think it's more a great source of strenght and inspiration for me. So guy's what represent He-Man and the Masters of the Universe for you ?

    Nostalgia.

Like visiting an old dear friend. Like remembering the god old days. Like remembering happy times in general.

You make that initial connection and it's with you for life. and you are ok with that. it's what you want.

as for wonderful world of MOTU? would be nice. but let's not get to greedy.

Why I'm into the MOTU brand, because I was in love with the vintage MOTU line and the mini-comics that came with the figures and toys! And why I loved the vintage toys, because I was so intrigued by the fusion of sword and sorcery and the futuristic technology, and still do to this day!

And why Masters in particular? Simply because of the toy designs, the crazy colors, the art work, and the muscular barbarian like figures looked like something from another dimension at the time, and took my imagination to another level... Never knew about the Filmation cartoons back in the day, or the other media. The brilliant art of the packaging and the mini-comics were my only source to build my own imaginative universe of the brand when I was a kid...

Nowadays, collecting MOTUC, 200X, the books and the comics aside from the nostalgia factor alone, it keeps inspiring me to be constantly creative on the other media that I'm into these days.

I'm a huge fan of the 1987 movie. Second comes the Filmation cartoon, and then the 200x cartoon.

Nostalgia is a huge part of it. MOTU will always be a big part of my life.

Hmmm Nostalgia for sure. Original He-Man figure were my first proper toy, what I still own even it's not great shape. Maybe best part of MotU always been it's characters are so unique many ways. Least for me. Still for this day I keep finding new things on it.
