Toyguru wouldn't last a day as a member on these forums. He is so use to getting his way at the Org that he would be completely lost on a fan site like this. I'm sure his friends at the Org have told him about this site by now. If he wants to join He-Man World I say we let him. I doubt he ever would. I do actually hope that he does read these forums. The Org is not the place for truth anymore, and when people do try to speak up, Val is quick to remind them that "these are just toys". I'm not saying that you have to believe anything TG says, but you CAN be civil towards someone without cursing them out or being belligerent. You can be firm and direct, even ask the tough questions without a witchhunt.

He very well maybe on here to see what fans are saying. I would check it out myself, too. I think Mega has a point though. With some of the hostility aimed at him, it's doubtful he will participate.
I'm not saying people aren't entitled to not like the guy or be angry with him. I just wouldn't expect him at all to participate.

There is no way that Scott pops over here. I am sure that his fellow employees send him posts and threads from this forum to him to piss him off, in a passive-aggressive way.
Personally, I don't think Scott's ego will allow him to take any criticism and there is no hope for him to change his ways. I am for a new Brand manager.“Anything is a dildo, if you're brave enough"

I once had a supervisor at my job that was a total prick. He would purposely mess with some workers just to get a rise out of them. Some guys would let it get to them and totally flip out... and he would just laugh. Point is... some people get off on aggravating other people. Sometimes I get the feeling that Neitlich exhibits this twisted behavior... It's just too weird that he does the polar opposite of what he should do as a professional adult. After 5-6 years of reading these threads and knowing that they are despised by most of the fans, anyone else would tone it down and keep a low profile... or at least try to turn that around. He just continues to do things that make fans angry, seemingly on purpose. So, what I'm trying to say is... I think he actually likes that people can't stand him. A prime example is the choice to make Fisto a first prize in a contest when he knows damn well that Fisto is a touchy subject for many that didn't get him due to Mattel's ineptitude. An ego can be a powerful thing and work against a person just as much as it could benefit ones self confidence... So I can't wait until karma finally kicks in. When it does, he's gonna know it.

I think karma bit him in the ass a long time ago. Scott doesn't want to be a toy-guru. He wants to be a film-guru. He wants his vision on the big screen. He has mentioned before on his Matty blog that he was a film major at university (among other things). I think the only reason he sticks around is because he wants to work on the MOTU film, and he thinks that being the brand manager is his ticket into Hollywood. He isn't writing those bios just for fun. That dude wants a story credit, and anything else he can get.“The internet treats censorship as a malfunction and routes around it." ― John Perry Barlow

If he did join this site under his actual user name of Toyguru, I would treat him no different than anyone else. I'm not going to wear kiddie-gloves with anyone. Being that he does work for Mattel and he is the MOTU brand manager, I would ask him some hard hitting questions, and I would expect that the Admins on this site wouldn't try to censor me for it. In reality though, I doubt that he would ever join this site, but I do suspect that he reads the posts here.“We change people through conversation, not through censorship." ― Jay Z

I hate to say it, but he pretty much owns the name ToyGuru. He has already established himself as that entity. I can tell you first hand that on this site (and probably any other toy forum), the name Toyguru is not to be used by anyone else except for Scott Neitlich. It's more or less reserved for him. I know because I already tried to take the name.
