If you're going through something like YouTube or Dailymotion, I just copy and past whatever sharing/embedding options they have that seem to work and don't upset the mods. I'll do one real quick and even throw a shameless plug out there for my stuff at the same time. I'm throwing just the link to the video without embedding like the ORG requires for videos posted in their threads. Mods, feel free to correct me here if necessary on the video posting business. I'm not a nearly a casual-professional at this online/HTML/BBC(?) stuff as plenty of others are. Regardless, I hope you've at least looked through the FAQs and are still stumped.
This is what I put in, just take out the asterisk before the "http" and that did it. Sites like Dailymotion and YouTube do the work for you. I'm sure if you're going through some alternative video outlet provider, they'll do something similar.
