Why are they "of questionable sexual preference"? What a stupid, homophobic thing to say.

I don't think it was meant to be homophobic. The joke (lame as it was) was that the narrator was questioning if the cartoon characters were meant to be gay or straight (ambiguous).

That very line of questioning IS homophobic. Why is sexual preference thrust into the equation when this is supposed to be about two beloved children's cartoons? Sexual preference, let alone sex, has nothing to do with these cartoons. Homosexuality is used as the butt of a stupid joke, which makes homosexuality something to be laughed at and ridiculed. This is offensive and homophobic, no two ways about it.

That's good point, Draego-Man. Very dumb these days remark of iconic characters like that. Someone should make much better battle video than this with facts than trying be fun too.

In the narrator's defense, if Lion-O hasn't put some kittens in Cheetara by the 3rd episode, I would question it too.

As blasphemous as this may sound on here, as a kid I was a big fan of He-man and Masters of the Universe, but I was a bigger fan (and still am) of the Thundercats. So I was actually hoping that Lion-O won the death battle.

P.s. I dont get the gay thing.... I never saw (and still dont see) He-man or Lion-O as homosexuals. I dont even know who came up with that claim...but its always irked me. Im even more annoyed by people that claim that Batman and Robin (specifically Robin) are homosexuals....I dont see anything homosexual about them... But its probably Wertham's "Seduction of the Innocent" thats to blame for that view by some people...

LOL, that was funny... As for the gay reference that He-Man is being labeled with, blame it on Filmation!

Haha It was the pink tunic wasnt it? And the fact that he didnt pounce on Teela or Frosta... I have to say that for a kid's cartoon, those women were drawn with some pretty sexy bodies...especially from behind (IE Teela).

That, plus how Prince Adam talks!... I keep wondering about the guy who took on his role if he was gay or not, seriously!

He-Man wasn't into Frosta when she was throwing herself in that one episode, which is odd because she looked smokin! But I guess he was holding out for Sweet Bee. Bad choice if you ask me.

Haha that picture is funny. By the way I agree, I think that all those broads (except maybe Madame Razz and Shadow Weaver) on that cartoon were sexy-looking..even if they were drawn.
