Grayskulls Standard - new faction banners

Fans asked, I deliver :-)

I made 5 different flags to come with the Grayskull Con 2013´s exclusive Grayskull´s Standard. But MOTU has more to offer than "just" those factions. So I am in the process of designing new logos and banners that you can download for free later.

This thread will be used to collect all those designs and WIPs.

(Not too sure about this. The crossbones alone are a bit meh, the bat is a bit too horde. Combined it is too busy. Any suggestions?)

The Galactic Protectors logo looks great. About the Evil Warriors logo, well, i've tried to make one too with not much luck. The bones and the bat together are too much, in my opinion. But, i like your style. Thanks for sharing. I'll keep checking this thread.

I think the Bat over the Crossbones is a bit of overkill, design wise. The bat crest on its own makes a cool logo, and with the mix of green, purple and red colours, it doesn't look a Horde emblem at all.

I will give it another shot. Some fans already suggested the havoc staff as a symbol for Skeletor. I will try.

Although the Horde banner was a favorite in the first set of banners, I decided to make yet another one for the Horde:



Together with TINs awesome custom heads, this will be the perfect addition for a Horde invasion right after the twins birthday.

Skeletor's design looks too busy to me. I would suggest ditching the crossbones, and just keep the bat as the logo. That bat looks amazing all on its own! It also looks more like something I would want to see on a t-shirt or a flag.

PLEASE tell me that you guys are still planning to make these?! I love this design for skeletors group flag. I would buy these in a heartbeat. But I still also want a set of the original flags also. PLEASE contact me if you guys make these or a second run of the originals again!!! ...

Dang, I really should update this thread more often. Which means I really should design more flags more often


So. After receiving the Unnamed One and with him the 5th minicomic, I had to get creative again. Non other than Axel Gimenez himself helped me putting together my latest flag.

Atop of the Temple of Power on Trolla is a flag. You can see it on the spread-page of the Temple on one of the last pages of the minicomic.
I liked that design and immediatly had to use it.

Here´s the result, which Axel approved:




I will now start working on the logistics to get the finished flags printed. Once they are ready, I will let you know and you can get the sets from me, while supplies last. Look for announcements in the marketplace then!

I´m finally ready with completing the second batch of Standard flags.

This batch includes:
1) Horde Invasion ("Abduction of the twins")
2) Great Rebellion
3) Tri-Solar System / Galactic Protectors
4) Skeletor (paying tribute to Danbrenus´ design in the Grayskull Con 2013 exclusive minicomic "Under Grayskull´s Flag!")
5) Temple of Power on Trolla (design used with permission of Axel Giménez )

I am going to print these on fabric, same as the original first set of flags. But I need 10 pre-orders for a full set at 10 Euros each.
Once 10 pre-orders are in, I will have the flags printed and prepared for shipping.
