The same as the other one only this one doesn't have as much background noise and the audio is generally cleaner. *I've been looking for this commercial for ...
Heroic human battering ram, catapult, and space warp device.
I only just noticed in that cartoon commercial in the first post that He-man is holding a battle axe exactly like the one that came with Vykron and Teela's spear is the same as the one like Green Goddess (and appeared in the first batch of Alcala mini-comics).
I forget, did that battle axe also appear in the Alcala mini-comics, or just the commercial and in the pic with the Vykron prototype?
Yeah, the spear also shows up in pictures of the prototype Teela (side of vintage Castle Grayskull box).
I don't recall seeing that axe in the first four mini comics exactly, except maybe on the back cover, although that one only resembles it in that it has a long handle.

The axe is based on the one that came with the original toy.
On a side note, the ad was loosely based on the third issue of the DC's MOTU mini-series:
“A society that gets rid of all its troublemakers goes downhill." ― Robert A. Heinlein
Based on doesn't mean EXACTLY same. Even the first version of the cartoon power sword differed from the toy design, but looked like... well you'll have to wait for that trivia video to find that out. :P
As a kid, I always had He-man use the axe too, but that was because I always gave Skeletor the two halves of the power sword w/ the good guys always trying to get it back.
Has anyone ever been able to find that 1st, original Kirk Cameron commercial? I know you get a quick look at him in the "Lost & found Filmation commercial", and that "your doomed" guy uploaded his line to Youtube ages ago, but I'm talking about the full commercial (no animation) where Kirk Cameron has lines and (i think) is playing with He-man. Eonline originally uploaded it back around 2001-2004. I use to have that one, but the file got corrupted and unrecoverable around 2008/2009...
Also, what is everybody's favorite commercial? I love the MODULOK one the most followed by the Trap Jaw one! The Dinosaur one is AMAZING, (very similar in style to the dinoriders commericals...) and the closets thing we have to a Powers of Grayskull commercial.
is there anyone who you think SHOULD have gotten a commercial that didn't? I wonder if The laser figures or Tytus and Megator ever got an European commercial?
Orko is such a small wonder. Who's the kid playing with Adam? I know I recognize him.
And while this isn't technically a commercial, it's close enough and cool enough to qualify for this thread IMO:
Now, toys I don't recall ever seeing commercials for:
Tri-Klops
Evil-Lyn, Screech, and Panthor--that is, the '83 Evil recolors'
Jitsu
Road Ripper
Stridor
Night Stalker
Clamp Champ
King Randor
The Sorceress
Ninjor
Scare Glow
Rotar
Twistoid
As cheesy as the holograms were, they still get to me.
That was the ultimate diorama, with the controlled lights and huge rock formations around/connecting each play set.
It should've been put in a museum or in Mattel's archives, but if they ever totally recreated it, I'd forgive them for blaming the fans on 200x's demise.
