Hmm. Especially with this character between a quantity limit of three and a low production run an expected outcome. -
a) He's just a lame repaint for the most part.
b) Probably most collectors don't care for him, or never heard of him... And some might have mistaken him for a redecorated Faker!
I'm even surprised that he sold out in less than a day, let alone in less than 5 hours!

Congratulations to those that got him. Especially congrats to the German fans. I didn't mind this as a MC Exclusive because it's mostly a repaint and not really a must have. I hope they continue the trend moving forward on MC. In time, I'd like to see other repaints truthfully. Something like this...

Not sure if they'd be popular enough but we've never gotten that Faker officially. They have that mold already in Origins of 200x He-Man plus I guess Teela & Duncan.
The one i'd really like to see is Buzz-Off but I'm not sure if Origins is 200x enough. What we do have though would still look cool in that color scheme IMO. Call him Buzz-Kill.

BTW, if you look at He-Skeletor's card art you'd notice the recolored BC and I think it's called Battle Panthor (not sure if this is the official name though!), similar in concept of what Andy is proposing:

Yeah Wun Dar and Grizzlor have almost passed the 7 months waiting time already. Good that I got lucky enough to get the earlier batches of each character. Still waiting for the second batches just in case they have variant colors or packaging art! -

I just got my 2 He-Skeletors surprisingly 3-4 faster than what I've predicted... And his blue tinted plastic is a little moretealish than the norm in person, so basically his body color won't match Keldor's head from the Rise of Evil 2 pack Target exclusive!
I also got today my 200X Randor and 2 of the Snake Troopers from Amazon! I still have a bunch waiting to ship from them, and another bunch in my POL over at BBTS!Comment

Tried not to say something but here it goes.
Let me split some hairs and play devil's advocate. Maybe some paralysis by analysis sprinkled in. With 2 cups over thinking tossed in for good measure.
And yet I could easily be wrong but I'm still going to say it.
Not hearing the logic or reasoning behind it a figure, special or not, or a multi-pack I don't think it's either of those ideas/concepts.
If was one of those we'd have one of those dollar sign notices like we have been getting. It honestly doesn't make sense to me if you DON'T use it.
The best and only way to reveal a 4 pack or a special figure is a con, a panel or surprise pop up video.
And on top of that you keep it on the down low.
That is why I think it could be MAYBE an Eternia update. SURPISE! An unexpected update.
Same with a Snake Mountain.
My long shots and/or left field thoughts
Another anniversary create a character-a-character contest. My logic/reasoning: Origins and Masterverse are each combining all the lore and history and whatnot right? Why not the create-a-character contest?
Remember the 80's create-a-figure with G.I. Joe? Steel Brigade or something like that. YAH! That.
Build a figure. I've said before and I'll keep on saying it. Give us buckets of "spare" parts (in the vein of Modulok and Multi-Bot) to allow us to make our own hero/villain/character/figure
As sarcasm I said cross over with Archie, My Little Pony and Transformers because Who hasn't?!?! WHY NOT?!?!?! Everyone else is. Still a slight possibility.
Bring in another toyline into the lore/mythos/history/multiverse/whatever. Two options. Make a new one or bring one in. Don't know what that could be. Don't want to do the research.
