I'm digging multiveristy, and generally enjoy Grant Morrison comics because he LOVES his continuity and characterization as much as I do. I'd like to see something like Grant Morrison continuing from where vintage left off with Powers of Grayskull The Legend begins from 1987. Unified continuity that uses multiverse to explain various inconsistency and non compatible versions of MOTU (Prince Adam VS no Prince Adam, a He-man who kills when he HAS TO and one that NEVER will) I'd really like to see larry DItillo write the main comic as he helped create MUCH some of the most beloved characters like The Faceless One, Shokoti and Granamyr. He knows how to world build and add characters fans will respond to. Most "fan favorite episodes" are usually Larry Ditillo episodes. He knows how to balance humor and seriousness that is befitting to the franchise created to appeal to five year old children which is the target demographic for people who play with toys which IMO should be Mattel (a toy company) major concern.
I want a nice clean, bold line work with minimal to no cross hatching. Semi animated look. No computer inking or coloring. Art influence and style should be like Norem. Alcala, Bruce Timm, Fred Carrillo and William George. Acrylic or oil painted covers with water color and flat animated style interiors.
Each issue should be a self contained story with the main plot spotlighting a particular character. Each six issues could focus on a group of characters or a theme, or era like PoG, Etherian Rebels, Horde, Snake Men) A story arch could run throughout the year, with a "mid season" at the six month mark to shift theme/era. Two collected editions a year. Popular characters might get a spin off series. Quorterly, or annual one shots could focus on introducing themes, characters and eras like NA, that may or may not be accepted by most. This would also be a good plac to clarify issues of continuity and timelines. This would work especially if using charecters like Zodac, Songster and Scorllos to tell thouse tales. This is where you can really experiament with various art styles and include professional MOTU and POP fans to contribute to the thing they love.
I want a Comic befitting the title MASTERS of the UNIVERSE. I want have to buy first thing on Wednesday morning! I'm tired of paying for a comic which it's obvious that people are just doing a job and collecting a pay check. I'm tired of filler and I want to be FULL!
