this was an ok issue. i'm glad that they are using the failmation license. in this issue, dylamug & colonel blast are in it.

i'm wondering if they plan on 2016 being a DC comics version of the toyline & by sticking in failmation characters in the comic, they will own those characters forever?

i just hope they keep using old stuff like that. is anyone else reading this?

That is really cool that Colonel Blast appeared in the comic. I get the feeling that Mattel is having characters like Colonel Blast and Vultak appear in the comics to see if people want them made as future action figures. Certainly a good way to promote them.

they should have bigger parts in the story. any of those old characters can be turned into a cool character if they take it seriously. i'll find out tomorrow.
