Why doesn't Toy Guru even know the names of the figures?

I don't care if he knows the names or not. As a fan I also don't know every single character and neither should he... however, when you entitle yourself as the "world's biggest MOTU specialist" - I'm pretty sure the guy from Toy Hunter didn't come with that designation by himself - then I guess knowing each and almost every character does matter... who's got entitlement issues now?

With that said, it really disgusts me that ***guru is willing to flat out lie to his "supposedly fellow fans" just to cover Mattel's ass... Stinkor's forearms, Fang Man's no DOS stock, female leotards, etc etc etc... these are all cases where he didn't care about lying against those he swears to defend... do you call that a fan? The ONLY logical reason why Neitlich doesn't know the names of MOTU characters after 6 full years is because he's not professional, and because he's not a MOTU fan, but just a marketer who doesn't care about a thing as long as MOTUC brings money.

You hit the nail on the head. The amount to times Spector appears everywhere in comparison to Cy-Chop, Sir Laser-Lot and Draego-Man says it all. Scott is a megalomaniac. Case closed.

While I agree that Neitlich is very ego centric, he still needs to bring the money to be able to promote himself in the manner you've mentioned above.

I want to know this, since when did warehouse fees become expensive????? Maybe in 2008, but not after the housing crash up till today - and most likely the next couple of years - they will be low. I would love to see the breakdown of how much MONEY a Pre-Order actually costs. As far as mattel and toy guru are concerned any reasons will be good enough to jack up the prices of motuc. I still cannot forget demo-man/battleground evil lyn fiasco that continued with messing up orders on fisto and sorcress. I was lucky to get my fisto and sorceress and shadow weaver but when I imagine how many people did not managed to get them and how the merciless scalpers are now skinning people alive with prices on evil bay. This daylight robbery was described by toy guru as healthy market pricing. Does that mean that Ram man, Man-at-arms,Teela are all healthy market prices too?????? He would not see a healthy market price if it stared him in the face. He should stop dealing with MOTUC and go make barbies and hot wheels and sell them at healthy market prices of $100.000 each

Probably they've commissioned him MOTU as an experiment because it wouldn't affect Mattel's pocket books if it didn't go anywhere, unlike major lines like Hot-Wheels or Barbie, I'm guessing they wouldn't risk it with a guy like him! Remember, he was only a copywriter like Emiliano has mentioned.
