Awesome character and figure, but the WEAK ANKLES syndrome has struck again...

In spite of the Rubenized armor and weak ankles, I'm still getting this figure. Goat-men, minotaurs and whatever humanized horned creatures are a must in fantasy based lines like MOTU.

Goat Man was one of my top 5 wants when I started collecting this line, so I'm getting one despite the weak ankles (which shouldn't be happening after 6 years... 6 years!)

Huh. This Goat Man's armor looks substantially worse than the Fwoosh's...
Not every beast is tender, especially if there is genius in his making.

I agree, I wonder what is up with that. Now I am getting peeved.

Yeah, it looks like that you could squeeze a finger in there! Maybe those armors were scaled after Ruben's physique!

The problem is Ruben is putting too much emphasis on actual playability and free movement with articulation, this way kids can actually play with them. This line is becoming an actual toy line for kids... and moving away from what an ADULT COLLECTOR LINE should be. This is a huge fail and I might not sub up for 2015 because of it.

Regardless, playability doesn't mean a bad design in mind! He just made the wrong ones out of laziness, or he simply has a bad taste with these figures.
