So, Fang Man was subscriber only back in March 2013. That was okay, it was a benefit for subscribers and I'm totally cool with it. Now they sell "customer service stock" of it... that leaves a bad taste, but it's some kind of okay, too. Every figure has customer service stock, whether exclusive or not. It would have been much wiser and better to offer this customer service stock to customers who buy multiple subs, like BBTS as a benefit, I think. No one would ever have noticed he was "sold again", BBTS (and others) who heavily "support" the line would get another benefit and could make an extra dollar out of these figures, win-win situation.
But NOW Fang Man is on sale. And he didn't sell out after 18 hours. So what does it mean? The tiny, tiny amount of customer service stock of a badly requested figure that was kind of exclusive last year doesn't sell out immediately? What is going on? The answer is simple - they didn't produce less of this figure, but the same amount as every figure with day-of-sale, they just kept the stock instead of selling it, intending to sell it later. There's no other explanation to this situation. So I think we can expect Clamp Champ, Sea Hawk and Two Bad after one year and get them at the regular DOS price again.
