Now THIS Would Have Been an AWESOME Unnamed One...
A legitimate point of view, and I say that as one who espoused the Keldor Theory back in 1996 and has been begging for release of any PoG information we can find. I'd love to know what was planned, but I also wonder if finding out might cost us some of the wonder and mystery and stifle fan creativity.
As for the 200X concepts, I borrow what I like and ignore what I don't for my own 200X. Hordak is/was _one_ of the Nameless Ones, for example, and He-Ro was not King Grayskull--he's both 3000 years earlier and uncounted years later.
Indeed, I should have been specific. I refer to all the ongoing buzz surrounding Nietlich's version. However, I am also no a fan of the 200X concepts. For me, the vintage mini comic which maintained the mystery of the character suits me just fine. Same with the vintage Keldor mystery.
So tired of the Unnamed One. I wish the whole idea was never thought up. It's a worse scandal than the Mighty Neitlich, I mean Spector.
Are you referring to the concept from vintage/200X/Classics altogether, or just Scott's reinterpretation as "Evil Ancient Trollan"? Because I think there's still some mileage left in the vintage one, although I grow more and more certain it was intended to be an actually-named character at some point (probably someone we already knew). And I'm really surprised there hasn't been more discussion of Emiliano's 200X plans. But yes, I think we've had enough of the Classics Unnamed One. Bring on Flogg's bio, then NA Skeletor's, then Eldor's if we want to discuss the Classics plot-sketches.
