Slime Pit was easily my favourite vintage MotU playset when I was young, so I'm hoping that Mattel would at some point give us a MotUC version of the playset. I seriously do hope that it does come with slime that looks similar to the vintage version of the slime we got with vintage slime pit, and that extra buckets of slime will be available for purchase on Matty. I think it would be a rather easy playset to make, and I don't think it needs to be more than $80 (the same as the Wind Raider). What do you guys think? Do you think we will get one? How much would you pay for it? Should it come with the MYP Slime monster, or should that be a separately carded figure?

In order to attract more customers in the same way that the Sky Sled did, I think it would be best to include an action figure. To me, the best figure to include would be the "Slime Monster He-Man" from the 80s mini-comic.

Slime Monster He-Man? Wow, what a cool idea! But would they make him an all green translucent He-Man, or would they actually put some coin into the sculpt?... Like a new monster head like the pic above.

Slime Pit and the MYP Slime Monster should be released, preferably together. It would be a smaller, more affordable playset. And I'd like a can of slime with it too !
No interest at all in a slime pit He-Man, though... but a 200X slime pit mutant would be very welcome !Last edited by Widukind; 01-18-2014, 06:25 PM.

I am down for a Slime Pit. "Slime-Pit-Man" does not have to necessarily be He-Man - he can just be a random dude, but he needs to be translucent green with drippings.
It would be nice if it did not break the bank too.“Anything is a dildo, if you're brave enough"

I never had the Slime Pit, but from pics I've seen... it looks like the entire playset revolves around the concept of pouring slime all over a figure. Since it is unlikely Mattel will include slime with it, is it really worth making?

Have it come with a "smokeless cigarette" attachement so that vapor can shoot through over the figures instead of slime. When done playing, you can then enjoy a nice vapor electronic cigarette. The box art could be "old-timey", like those old boxes of the Red Ryder BB Gun where the kid is smoking Pall Malls and killing squirrels.
What a great oppurtunity for cross promotion. PLUS - With enough "HE-POINTS" you can order a mail-in Slime Pit tray to make your own Jello-Shots.“Anything is a dildo, if you're brave enough"

I'd be down for this. Slime pit is great. You can get TMNT slime if it didn't come with any."The first condition of progress is that there is no censorship"

Do you guys think the Slime pit should look like the vintage version?“Censorship always defeats it own purpose, for it creates in the end the kind of society that is incapable of exercising real discretion." ― Henry Steele Commager

I'd love a Slime Pit that looked like the vintage one.
I'd also love a translucent green slimed He-man, or the 200X Slime Pit Monster.... but the only problem with that would be I'd want to army build them, which would be tough to do if one comes with a slime pit (therefore that's the more likely scenario of the two that Neitlich would choose).
