  • I Love Cy-Chop

He deserves his own thread. I think he is an AMAZING figure and a brilliant mix of reused and original parts. If this was a vintage figure people would LOVE this guy, but instead he gets all kinds of hate poured on him.

Personally I LOVE this figure and really don't understand why people have a problem with him.

    ALL HAIL CY-CHOP!!!!

I personally think he's a mess. If he had robotic arms and also a more robotic sculpt below the waist it would be ok for me.

Exxactly! The fur is just so mismatched.

I do like his colors. I just hate the oversized scissors.

His colors are the ONLY thing likeable about him, but I like them on Strong Arm more...

The scissors are way too much. Apart from that I'm okay with him. Not the best but by far not the worst figure of the line.

What is to hate about the scissors? It's his gimmick, much like Mechaneck's overly long neck.

They're way too big. No vintage figure ever had a gimmick that was so oversized.

I also like the figure a lot.
My one nitpick is that the scissors are just too big. So for me, it's not that I hate the scissors, just the size of the scissors. I wouldn't want them too small either, just not that gigantic...

One of the fews, which went right to ebay. He has no really MotU vibe.
Looks like straight from an 60´s japanese scifi/monster movie and thats exactly where Higuchi took his inspiration from. Well done, but not MotU.

I have put Cy-Chop next to the NA space mutants and he fits right in. He definetly does not go well in with the regular classics figures.

I got Cy-Chop, thinking I would one day appreciate him. Over time I came to loathe his clumsy over-sized scissors and sold him off. I was just angry that someone who was a supposed 'industry professional' designed this. My bowels have designed more functional pieces. Still, its better than a certain guru of toys can do.

It's more practical and makes much more sense.

                Meckaneck is a scout/spy.

Cy-chop is an amalgamation of things.

Cy-Chop is some New Adventures Horde member.

I still love him guys. To me he makes perfect sense. Love the blue fur combined with the robotic parts, and love that he has bare feet. It is no weirder than wearing a furry loin cloth. lol.

That is the most offensive comment anyone could ever possibly make on this website. I know you are joking, but man, that is a low blow.

I do like Cy-Chop too. One thing I do since I'm not too fond of the (IMO) excessively big scissors, is I gave him a Horde Prime left hand so he's only got the one scissor hand. To me, only one over sized scissor hand seems much more tolerable than the two and makes him blend in better, akin to Clawful, Fisto, Jitsu
