I don't know if I will subbing this year. If they surprise us and get the movie rights to the 1987 movie characters like KARG and the Dark Troopers, then I would subscribe, but as it stands now... not so sure.

Man, a lot is riding on SDCC this year. Really no reason to sub anymore. I think LIGHT HOPE will be the only figure worth some coin next year.

If 2015 is the last official year for MOTUC, it would be probably better if Scott announces all the characters/items (just names will do) left for 2015, however I'll be very surprised if he does!

Logically to encourage people to sub if he was actually telling the truth, that most of what's coming is basically the most popular/iconic leftover characters from vintage and POP and not some shady characters from Filmation or NA that very few fans would care about!

If I'm honest with my self...I'm more then likely to purchase a a sub so long as I can afford to do so. Problems and all, I love no fictional property more then I love MOTU. So long as we stay away from Skeleteen and skelebabies I'll live with it. But don't tell Mattel that or they wont fix or change anything!

With a few minor tweaks for my tastes, your list is actually how I would want a sub to look. But it won't, so I'm not buying.

Exactly....showing figures we already have isn't going to make anyone want to sub for a bunch of C and D list characters that are coming in 2015.....besides,those who haven't subbed,their minds are made up

I can only speak for myself here Barnster, and I think I call tell the difference between the genuine act behind promoting the line and pushing sub sales at the last day just to save someone's butt or collecting habit.
If Mattel as a mega toy company didn't invest enough money or the time in promoting the line they sell at premium prices, why should fans expected to do the work for them for free with no incentives what so ever?

And BTW, I've purchased my sub about a month ago, and I think people who wanted the sub did that already...

Not yet. Scott claims that they are at 90%. They are opening the Sub sales again this weekend.
