everyone is so focused on the head because it's noticeable, but look at the musculature. It lacks a great many details of the original sculpts. I wish we had someone willing to do more side by comparison photos to showcase this point. Gentle Giant preserves the details when the blow up the original figure. Having held some, They are amazing. Photos never truly do them justice, even though they always look amazing when photographed. The jumbo vintage Kenner quality have an almost animated style quality to them because of this. MOTU, odd proportions as they may be, are generally more "realistic" in style of sculpt. These jumbo reproductions are more animated in style. It's shame they didn't try to go for a FILMation style aesthetic with these Jumbo figures.
"It's a great way to show your love" ...by buying hastily made, inaccurately reproduced junk almost nobody wants...Mattycollector, where nobody, especially He-Man fans WANTS to be...
I literally laughed out loud. He has this really "crazy" look in his eyes. I even I get the feeling he said that really slow, as to allow time for screen cap & meme makers time to grab that. I think he might enjoys the attention, and this is demonstrative of it IMO. (That isn't so much of a judgement BTW, it's just an observation)
Why not? I mean, I'm not spending $75 per figure, to hell with that. I'll wait awhile and see if I can get one or two at a decent price on e-bay or something. Inferior or not, they're certainly no worse than the MOTU knock-offs I've seen and I want as many of those as I can can find too.
I'm cool with Gwildor, not so much his price tag. I just don't see the $35 Value on him when Mantenna, Dactus, Draego were Normal priced items. Then again, i don't see the $25 value in UNO, or Madame Razz.
Gwildor in that huge package is a bloody joke. They could have easily fit him into a normal size bubble, but are using this huge one to justify an inflated price. What a rip off!
Oh, and a HATE this figure and this character. Sorry, but Gwildor to me is the stupidest thing about MOTU. I'd rather have a Kevin or Julie figure than Gwildor.
I'd buy the giant figures, even though the paint jobs on He-Man and Skeletor's heads kinda bug me. I still brutally despise Gwildor though....*shudders*
If Neitlich took a dump and slapped on the "MOTU Classics" logo on it,people (Orger's especially) would still buy it!

Haha $75 for plastic turds... At 3:09 where Neitlich reaches into his ass, and pulls out the Zodac gun- the look on his face shows that he himself isnt convinced of those things being marketable... Many people are willing to throw away a large sums of money, on whatever garbage Mattel creates- and Neitlich then pushes it to them like a street pharmacist on some corner. The people that are willing to buy these at $75, should instead take their $75 and spend it on food for the homeless (Im talking to the bleeding-heart and self-righteous-P.C. ORG-types)... Its time for them to practice what they pretend to preach. Maybe then that kind of money would be put to much better use, than buying plastic turds that just so happen to have a MOTU logo on their boxes.
The giants are a disappointment. Overall the sculpts are just off enough to be annoying, but He-Man's head is terrible. The others look good enough, but when they've screwed up the main character what is the point in getting the others?
Gwildor, on the other hand, looks great. I hope there isn't some major manufacturing screw up, but at this point I'm not holding my breath.
