    A new message from MattyCollector.com:

    http://forums.mattycollector.com/eve...5/m/4401071778

    L.Cypher, Administrator, Mattycollector.com:

Just a quick update to let you know that Scott Neitlich has resigned from Mattel. While Scott’s passion, knowledge and enthusiasm for the product will definitely be missed, Mattel has an incredibly talented team of passionate designers, engineers and marketers who are committed to delivering the highest quality products and experiences to our community. We wish Scott well in his new endeavors and we look forward to revealing some exciting new initiatives within the MattyCollector.com world.

Seamed to be some confusion from an earlier version of this thread. Sorry about that. Hopefully all is clear now. I have sympathy for Mr L. Cypher IF he continues to communicate with the customers in the future. I'm curious if anyone has ant more information about this guy? I do not really visit the Mattycollector.com forums.

I saw this earlier today but didn't think much about it.

      L. Cypher's been around Matty forums for a bit. He doesn't post as much as TG did. He helped me with an issue that Normal CS wasn't helping and had Brady from Escalations contact me to fix the issue.

I have no idea what this post is about.

Sorry I'll clarify: Despite not having the "passion, knowledge and enthusiasm" of the "hardest working man in the toy industry today", Team Matty seams to be ready and (hopefully able) to continue in the wake of Mr. Toy Guru's absence...

This is the first communication from Team Matty in this new post Toy Guru era!

Some thought Mattycollector.com might close, and that we'd get refunds with a door prize like the Ghostbuster collectors did.

Some people expressed concern that without Toyguru everything would fall.

Some people wanted official word about Scott's resignation from Mattel.

Fear not, the line is continuing, and "some exciting new initiatives" are forthcoming...What the devil could that mean?!?! Hopefully he is referring to the 200X subscription for 2015 that has been rumored. After all, we have that Evil Seed tease. Or perhaps this "exciting new initiatives" is not toy related? Might it be media related? Perhaps it's related to another toy line? There is that Real Ghostbusters thing announced back at SDCC right? I doubt Matty.com can survive on MOTU alone. Whatever the initiative is, I hope it's exciting and something positive!

Mostly, I think this demonstrates that communication from Team Matty will continue.

Well, I really really hope something positive will show itself after TG's departure, and so long as it isn't the Son of He-Man pitch... Someone has mentioned somewhere that a Megabloks MOTU line is in the works, and I won't be surprised if it happens!

Hopefully the new people in charge will learn from the past mistakes, and keep a consistent, painted, problem-free line available for the fans. I wish them well and good luck!

Despite fan differences, we all want the same thing: to buy & enjoy new He-Man figures & products, to see quality He-Man toys available 24/7/365, and to be able to share the line with the next generation of fans.

I hope Megabloks MOTU happens! THIS is the type of thing parents & family members can easily and safely give as gifts to the little ones in their lives, and they've been asking for it for almost a DECADE, so hopefully someone sees the money on the table here

In no way, shape, or form does that post on Matty state or imply that L. Cypher is Scott's replacement. He is just the Matty fourm admin who happens to be sharing the news of Scott's departure on those forums. I'm not sure how anyone can jump to that conclusion based on that post.

The facts of the situation are obviously simple enough. What is unclear to you is that we agree upon the facts...What I do not understand is why you want to make it out like I fail to understand the situation. (please take note that is not a question.) You've demonstrated to me you have no respect for me. It is you that is reaching for an argument that simply refuse to have. Good day sir.

No disrespect was intended. It did not seem that you had all of the facts to start with, particularly L. Chypher's tenure at mattycollector. If I am mistaken on that, I aplogize.

I appreciate that, and I apologize if I came off harshly too. Admittedly, My OP was poorly worded. However, there is no reason for you to apologize in this regard as it says "Posts: 56 | Registered: September 28, 2009" where a signature might be on this forum and the .Org. Since I linked to that post, there is no way that I can conceive how another person could NOT be aware of that I can read. That's why To me, it came off like you are calling me a moron...To backtrack, the issue is really simple. I LOLed at "The Devil" being a Mattel Employee! http://www.michaelhartzell.com/Porta...ect-devil1.jpg You'll either rotflmao or not at that one. Indeed, as I mentioned, this was MY first time noticing this guy, as such my poorly worded OP was to convey my "why am i just now finding out about this" feeling of amusement...Since figures are shipping and 2015 seams to be on track, and that the .org is continuing with Q&As. It seams the current manager (whoever that may be) is taking a less public approach. That is ALL I meant when I said "business as usual". There is no Toy Guru and It isn't the end of the world. The Line is continuing = "business as usual".

If you didn't unintentionally call me a moron, and you don't think ill of me, It's then I who should apologize to you.

                L. Cypher has been made the new Administrator of the MattyCollector forum, and is making an official announcement about Scott's departure. This does not mean that he is the new man in charge of the toy lines. This only means that he is taking on the administrative duties of the MattyCollector forum. L. Cypher is simply making a public announcement about Scott leaving on behalf of Mattel, to reassure customers that things will be OK without Scott at the helm.

Bottom line from this announcement is that MattyCollector the MOTUC line will continue in 2015 under new staff, but no one has been announced yet as the new Brand Manager.
