Just wondering if people are planning to pick this up. I'll be getting 1 tomorrow during EA.

So who is buying a Battle Ram?

Not me.
I think the vehicles are the absolute best within the line, though I recently parted with everything that I had left - except for Granamyr - and have no intention in purchasing any more MOTUC items.“Freedom of speech doesn't protect speech that you like, freedom of speech protects speech that you hate." ― Ron Jeremy

I must admit, while the quality of the figures seems to be trending downward, I've had nary a hiccup with the website this past year. Granted I've only bought a handful of items and used Early Access maybe twice, but still...Not every beast is tender, especially if there is genius in his making.

I really wanted to get one but car repairs are going to prevent it. Perhaps if it's made part of the essentials like the Wind Raider I'll be able to pick one up later.Last edited by Captain Wow; 11-14-2014, 08:15 PM.

Does it look cool? Yes. Am I happy for those that wanted it and got it? Yes. Do I want this $100 + shipping + taxes thingy? Absolutely not.
The next time Mattel gets that kind of green from me, it will be for, oh say, Shadow Wing... and even then I'll be buying it from a reseller, so that's one less direct sale for them.
F _ _ _ Mattel.

I just received my two Battle-Rams an hour ago, and I've opened one! MAA's new head is very cool, and the figure's QC seems good enough and the joints are decent, but without paying too much attention to his limbs/shoulders and whatnot.
The Battle-Ram itself is amazing in person, and the sculpted details and the paint job on that thing are superb and impressive! The projectile is decent as well.
Too bad I cannot take some pics at the moment because I'm just too busy to setup a shooting area and then upload them online!... It is worth the $110 price tag plus whatever the shipping/taxes charges, definitely not. IMO this vehicle plus the figure shouldn't be more than $80 tops! But it certainly kicks Arrow's disgusting ass! Man, that lame horse isn't worth the $20, let alone $40-$42!!!
We certainly need a few more of the key vintage vehicles in this line and at least one more plates (Snake-Mountain), that's how I remember MOTU the Toy line that it was!

I don't allow natural light to touch the toys at my house any more than is strictly necessary, so I should be safe. Thanks!

Yeah, natural light discolors plastic over time, especially light colored plastic.

BTW, I checked both the old Sled and Full BR in the day light, and both have the same exact color, other than the very slight shading that I've mentioned above.

I bought two during EA. They arrived yesterday. I will try to post pics later today. The Battle Ram looks awesome. The sculpt on Man-at-Arms head looks great.
I do have some packaging induced warping on the Jet Sled part of the Battle Ram. One of the hand grips was bent inwards toward the center of the vehicle. The hand grips are made of soft material so I am thinking this can be fixed with a hair dryer. The other issue is the gun barrel on the Jet Sled. It is bent as well. I originally thought, more package warping, but as I took a closer look, it appears to have been installed a little crooked. The gun barrel uses the same soft material and is glued into the more rigid plastic of the Jet Sled frame. Not sure that a hair dryer will be able to straighten this out. I will take some pics before and after using the hair dryer and post them later today.

only ordered one. not looking forward to troll-guru's man-at-arms. this is number 3 now? instead of giving us, a d-lister that would have been easy to make, he forced us to buy yet another man-at-arms just so he could get his 200x pony tail head.
it looks like he was right though. people are not buying vehicles. pretty sure this is the last vehicle.

I think in this case, its the price. Wind Raider was $50. This one is $110 with the added figure. I think if it was about $50 to $75 it would have sold better. With the $110 price tag I only bought one, but if it has been under $100 I would have bought two.

Yeah, there is no way to justify that $110 price no matter how you look at it. It should've been 30%-35% less.

Filmation MAA body with 200X MAA's head. Way to get both sets of MOTU cartoon fans to buy this.
The figure was included to get fans to buy the vehicle, like Sky High was included with the front part of the Battle Ram. According to Mattel logic, the Wind Raider sold terribly because there was no figure included.
