These are really nice.
I'd totally buy them all, especially the Teelas.

That's what rebranding is: bringing back main characters. If Mattel does indeed repackage and retitle the brand, you will get main characters.
It isn't my idea, it's how it usually works
Like they did with DC Signature Series or Super Powers. New titles, old molds.
Of course, they can just decide to continue MOTUC as is, then you don't have to worry.

If they wanted to put new life into main characters, I think it would be great would be to include some of these elements, but also include some wear and tear on armor and weapons, like they did with Vikor and Demo Man. Something like classics, but a bit more weathered, and paying homage to some of the early concepts and other alternate versions of characters that have appeared in mini comics and various art work (Earl Norem, Rudy Obrero, Alcala, etc)

Usually, these things are a bit shorter than the original series.
It's more about bringing back the core characters to seek out new customers that didn't jump onboard the first time around.
But so far, it's all speculations of course

Thanks for answering. IMHO, core character are much more attractive to recollect since the life span of the assumed rebranded line is a lot shorter.

Im of the opinion that any 'relaunch' will be short lived. Personally, I have a vintage line up, a 200x line up, and most of the MOTUCs I desire. For me a relaunch is for a certain type of fan that I'm not.
It began with collecting what I didn't get in 200x. I fell in love with MOTUC, and kept going, but I have no love left for Mattel and its products. I'm tapped out. I have 1 single collector friend who dosn't have any of the qualities I detest in most collectors. He's in the same boat. 2015 is it for him as well.

Revisions of the main cast, most-wanted variants, and new never-made characters would make the relaunch a good thing and I can see many staying onboard for that. Maybe even bring some new blood to the table. I'm in as long as it isnt just the Nu52 DC Comics designs. A redo of Teela would definetly spark most fan's attention (unless they paid $150 for one already). Emiliano's designs are excellent and here's to hoping we get something close t one of these options in the new line.“What is freedom of expression?
