  • More MOTU mini reveals!

Looks like the MINI subs aren't doing too well, so Mattel has decided to reveal more of those characters:

I think they're awesome looking for what they are, if it wasn't for their inflated prices and Matty's insane shipping cost, I would've collected most of them!

The Figures look quite nice but I'm not interested in them and they are too expensive.

I like these, but they are too expensive (before adding shipping costs). Once the shipping costs are added they become RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE!!

Yeah, that's my biggest gripe with these. The shipping just makes them skyrocket above what I'm willing to pay. I'd rather use OMFG/OTMFG or Imaginext to fulfill my minifigure needs.

I think it's quite ironic to see Mini's Buzz-Off has a better looking head than the MOTUC version.

In what way do you feel this head looks better?

Still not subscribing ... but I think I'm going to have to buy the mini He-Ro.

        Trap Jaw!
Looks like I'm going to buy my first mini figure, but no way I'd ever commit to a sub for minis.
Too f'ing expensive for the little guys......maybe if they came to $20 CDN after shipping, but as it stands now they're closer to $40 CDN for me after shipping, Customs, and currency conversion.

Even as big of a Trap Jaw fan as I am, I'm more likely to try and snag a loose one off of eBay.

I love 'em but the cost... Unless they allow us to buy bundled all year long (which sort of helps with that crazy tax & shipping costs) I'm still on the sidelines with this.

These are bootlegs. Everyone knows that Mattel can't reveal a full year of figures due to "logistics"...

              Oh wait...

"Fan art". Nothing to see here...

Precisely, one more lie from the previous brand/marketing manager has been exposed! His strategies were a sham, really!

Aren't Stinkor's forearms reversed when compared to its Classics counterpart? They seem to POP a little bit less in those pictures...

I really wish these where more affordable! I love the style and the art, but more of a FIlmation, animated aesthetic and less detail in the sculpt would make more sense IMO. I think blind bag mini figures would be for the best, as that seams to be really popular. Though that would be more fitting of a retail line... Good sign of the new regime thinks differently when selling us stuff. I hope this means we'll see this tactic repeated for summer 2015.

It will be hard to pass on Hordak/He-Ro (Fingers crossed they come together) on DOS...Though I did pass on Zodac.

Just got an e-mail from Mattel listing the six packs:

                    She-Ra vs. Horde Trooper
                    Jitsu vs. Mekaneck
                    He-Ro vs. Webstor
                    Trap Jaw vs. Ram Man
                    Buzz Off vs. Stinkor
                    Orko vs. Hordak

I would have preferred He-Ro vs. Hordak, like Shawn, but Webstor was my first figure from the 1984 wave, so I'm fine with him as the counterpart to the Most Powerful Wizard in the Universe.

And no Dare, Spector or Skeleteen!

These are really too expensive for what they are. They're cute, though. I'd love to see a MOTU Imaginext line, though. I'd buy those up.

Yeah, me too. My wife and I were at Wal-mart last night looking at an Imaginext castle and there was a lizard man who looked so much like Whiplash that it wasn't funny. I really hope we see more and more MOTUC influence in Imaginext!
