Yeah, free shipping on the Battle Ram would have been nice. But who could have predicted DR of all companies to offer free shipping?
I'm sure they'll muck things up somehow, like Geo Blocking international customers so they're not out the shipping & handling charges on our orders, or they'll list the Battle Ram as sold out until the sale is over, etc. etc.
The possible ways DR will try to screw us out of this deal are endless...

Random Sale tidbit. Y'all know that the Battleground Teela that were sitting for a full year at $20 and didn't sell are now at the Wonderful price of $27... If they couldn't move her at $20 what makes them think that selling her at $27 will?

.....my guess is they'll probably place her 'on sale' at some point during the the next week so that at checkout she'll be 'discounted' $7...... thereby looking like you just saved money!

Made an order over $99 and the figures came out FULL PRICE and NO Free Shipping. Called DR and now I have to wait 2-3 days and see what they'll do. If they apply the discounts, then I fall slightly short out of $99 (but the "savings" eat up most of the shipping costs). If they waive the shipping I still pay roughly the same as if they applied the discount. (a few bucks less).

Now what they SHOULD DO since it was an issue on THEIR End is waive the shipping AND apply the discount, but I half expect them to say: "Sorry, there's nothing we can do" and I'm stuck paying Full Price AND Shipping.

You are never stuck. You call your credit card company, and politely explain that an online retailer is not adhering to their advertised pricing. Then you cancel the card. They side with you. Then you say FU*K YOU Mattel via email a few dozens times like I did, and they can't do squat.

Well, they cancelled my order and I was able to do another order WITH The discount. Lost Panthor, but ordered a Griffin (that I needed) and a Fang Man in addition to my order to get it over $99

I had the same problem at first, but didn't confirm my order. I logged out of EA, logged back in after 11:15 and free shipping finally showed up for me.

The whole thing is a joke, most places offer real discounts between 10%-%50 off plus free shipping...

They "fixed" my issue by cancelling my order... Buh bye Panthor! So, I had to reorder and got a Griffin instead. This time WITH Discount and Free Shipping...

This "sale" is shit. Love that Digital Shitter had a free shipping glitch, same crap, different year.

Love seeing Seahawk and Dactus show back up along with Panthor. I wouldn't be surprised if there were 20,000 Shadow Weavers and Horde Troopers ready for Big Lots.

but a bit crappy for MOTUC... in all fairness, I got a Fang Man coming under the subscribers suggested cost of $25.

I wonder if now that Scoot ScrewYou is no longer active on He-Man.org, if the subscriber anger for all these past 'sub only figures' will come back when people realize Mattel is just yanking everyone's chain and jerking around their consumer base with their failed sub model.

Well looks like I'll have to wait for the Battle Ram, pretty shameful they pulled it out the store but after the sub item beating I'll just have to wait and try down the road.

Special note to all of the other EU fans out there:

The free shipping is available for us too, but it's the Economy option, which has no tracking, no customer service, and zero guarantees of actually arriving. Matty will not refund you if it does not arrive at your house, or if you have a problem with your order. This is important because you might save 50 euros on your order, but if there's any problems, you're out all that money you spent. People have also complained in the past that their International Economy shipped orders were cancelled without warning or never shipped and their cards only refunded months later.

Just wanted to throw this out there today to remind everyone that International Economy shipping from Matty is like playing roulette- they might play you, you might win, but there are no guarantees and that is just not cool. I've had no problems myself, but I've seen complaints online about what happens if there's a problem (basically, kiss your $99+ goodbye.)
