Well, I am the guy who created a HORDE TROOPER persona on Linked in and message bombed everyone from Mattel and even got quite a few connections. I sent a letter to HQ and an email, but not a damn response.
I really don't get it. But nothing that happens with this line surprises me anymore.

If you did not "sit" on the Horde Trooper page and refresh it for the sale, while signed in, you had ZERO chance. AND of course the one hour I am 4 minutes late due to life happening, I missed it.

I will never, ever, understand how these are not evergreen. I basic search of EBAY for the original MOTU troopers would have told you how sought after these are.

Saw Horde Troopers pop up and 'SOLD OUT' in less than five minutes. Someone said they were sold out in one minute. Probably true. If they don't do another run of these and make them an evergreen item, they are fools. I know so many people would add a few of these every time they made a purchase. We can't all afford to blow $250 in one shot at Matty, but we all still want to build an army of these, and if they were evergreen, we could.

This was a sad sale. Did not get a chance to get some more Horde Troopers.

Once again, if you did not sit on the figures name you wanted to purchase and immediately add them to the cart, while signed in of course, they basically showed up the public as Sold Out.

Year after year of these blunders, and nothing changes, incompetence and apathy.

And it looks like it ends with a whimper, with nothing new for the last announced hour. I would have picked up some of the figures left if they'd gone down to 50% or more.

I recommend checking back at 5:30 EST/2:30 PST (about 7 minutes from this posting) and then again at 6/3 (37 minutes).

They pulled the same crap last year. Advertise the flash sale will take place hourly until a certain time, but cut them short only to leave the stragglers until the end of the flash sale, pull just those and leave only the remaining items that started the sale last week until the very end. Why not leave everything unsold up until at least the end of Cyber Monday, or (heaven forbid) until they're actuall all gone?

....and they wonder why the never really sell out of items & have to dump them at Big Lots or one WalMart in El Segundo.... f'ing morons:bang:

I just missed out on these guys, only because I had a page open with them ready to go. I forgot to log in beforehand, so by the time I had them in my cart and was checking out, they were sold out. At least I had a chance this time, but still nothing by clicking on the banner........ maybe in another 15 minutes.





P.S. Are there any DC stuff showing up as flash sale items?

Same thing happened to me. Horde Troopers in cart. Get message that an error occurred (twice). Then message that says they are sold out. All in less than a minute. :bang:
