5. Wakko: Has Mattel considered doing a second run of the under-produced Horde Trooper 2-pack? Other options could be releasing the Horde Trooper as a single-carded figure that includes alternate heads for General Sunder, Filmation Hordak and/or Filmation He-Man. Doing so would please fans who were unable to purchase the Horde Troopers the first time, and also entice collectors with an "all-new" figure thanks to the alternate head(s).

I was just thinking the same thing Captain. Snake Men repaints with maybe color-matched or even new armor as well as some new heads. Wouldn't really have to change the packaging either. Could do this with any army builder figures like the Palace Guards. New heads, color-matched or new armor, new paint and you got a new army set. Example: Orange guards with silver armor for a Fire Brigade to go with Snout Spout.

Only if the set comes with parts to also make the Sunder figure into a regular Horde Trooper if we choose to. If not, then it's a bad idea because people want to army build with the Troopers, and having to buy a duplicate of another figure with each additional Trooper would suck.

Not producing enough Horde Troopers (arguably MOTU's most requested army builder) has got to be one of, if not the biggest blunders that the previous brand manager did.
Nice to see the new regime trying to fix some of the previous buffoonery..... More Horde Troopers, giving us the full line up of a sub before we commit our money to it, videos without a guilt trip for poor little Mattel's budget restraints. What's next?

and the impression I got others wanted more different colored snake men.

If they do re-issue the 2 pack, I'd rather it be a 2-pack of non damaged Troopers. I just don't like displaying a battle damage Horde Trooper, which is why I won't be applying the stickers to the Hover Robots whenever they become available.

As for a Snake Men reissue, I'd want to see that set be different enough than the first 1. I found the club and the blue armor to be such a let down, I'd be happy if they replaced those accessories and a few of the heads so that we can make 1 mini-comic Snake Men Warrior.

i agree but if it wasn't for that battle damage, i would not have as many troopers as I do (and a little goof off 2 removes the marks quite nicely) so I'm kind of happy they did that because I had the chance to build a small squad, rather than just have the 2 I got from the sub.

I even created a troll account on LinkedIn and spammed everyone at Mattel with a "REISSUE HORDE TROOPER" profile that belittled Scott Neitlich in the summary for all to see.

I had quite a few Mattel employees befriend me, which was awesome, because I basically posted a point by point character assassination of Scotty along with an assessment of his piss poor marketing job.
