Did you guys see what was in that mini-comic???

A variant that I have been waiting for a looooooong time is someone's else's palette swapped secret identity. I hope we get the first version way before that...

Especially the He-ManWorld Forum was created for freedom of expression, if im not mistaken. So i guess it would be proof of its shortcomings if all of its members would have the same opinion.
I for one like Pixel Dan

Skeleteen, yuck I know! But at least the art work looks amazing...

No, some members don't like him or like his bias reviews, and it's perfectly understandable, but some of us still like his work even though sometimes he doesn't mention the defects we loath on some of those reviewed units.

Hopefully one day we get to see a better and a more balanced reviewer on You-Tube in regards to the MOTUC line, but until then, PD remains the most anticipated guy to hold video reviews to date simply because he gets the stuff earlier than most.

I noticed that the Lou Scheimer Production's Son of He-Man characters are the next wave of [strike]Heroic Warriors[/strike] Masters of the Universe.

Terrible figure. Totally ruined the 4H's sculpt with that froofy poodle hairo they put on Oo-Larr. Man that looks totally ridiculous. Absolutely dreadful.

The vintage head is better, but also ruined by the seam from the mould. What a bloody joke.

So far a really ****ing awful start to 2015. Even without TG Matty is managing to **** everything up.

I'm not seeing the seam on the vintage head, but I've heard others mention it. Anyone got any better pictures?

        I wasn't talking about Skeleteen.

Look at the outfit Dare is wearing...that character totally isn't original. His He-Man mode is NA He-Man in new colors and his non-powered form is ________________ in new colors.

Could you shoot me a PM with the answer please? I couldn't care less about spoiling it for me, as I've no intention to ever read a mini-comic based on a story idea from the former brand manager. The bios are cringe worthy enough, I can't even imagine the drivel that Neitlich shat onto the pages of a mini-comic.

I really wish he wasn't a NA repaint. As for his alter ego I think that's cool they worked that into this line. I was so hoping for He-Ro II to have something different and worth the WOW...

Interesting. That could be a sneaky way to get that character out.

I knew he was there but didn't want to look so I could avoid the spoiler even though I've noticed the ponytail, but my eyes caught Skeleteen at the end anyways...
And acording to rumors, we're getting at least one of them in figure form thanks to Mr. Neitlich...

I think that Oo-Larr is pretty teethy... I would've preferred maybe a grimacing look to illustrate 'savage' maybe with a slight snarl? That true vintage He-man head is on the mark... but in some shots looks like his cheeks are rosy with a slight shade difference but does look pretty good. Not bad for the extra figure we paid for: I sort have weened off from calling it a 'Bonus' as the term hints that you are getting something extra for nothing, we paid for this figure, pretty simple.

Agreed... Also what I don't like about him is that most of his joints are very prominent due to the lack of armor/wearable accessories. But then again, I'd take anything Alcala related.

I'm still really confused as to why Dare was changed to a version that is so similar to the NA He-Man. It just doesn't make much sense. I know the whole original earlier tv series pitch was revealed, but for years Dare has always been assumed to have had his own unique look from the Filmation pitch.

And surprised they didn't use the other Filmation pitch after they used that design for NA?

I really dig most things Acala, but I have never, ever been excited about OO-Lar. He is just some naked cave dude, that looks like a great buck to use for customs.

Both heads are shit to me. Oh, and it's 2015 and Mattel now has prominent mold lines on heads. Rio Blast was the last head I remember with mold lines this prominent.

Im fine with the final figure. Not as perfect from proto to final toy like Snake Armor He-Man, but its not the worst one. I waited for years for Alcala He-Man, im happy i´ll get him at last.
The Minicomic would go straight to the trash can, wouldn´t it have Axels nice art. What ive seen story wise, is another slap in the fans faces and Sphincter and Lose a Lot are in it too, i dont believe it.
              Also "spare me the Dare"!

Thankfully we have a true "Homecoming" comic!

I was none-too-thrilled when I learned that Oo-Larr was the subscription exclusive figure. I really had no connection with the figure whatsoever. But having the figure in hand (write your own punchlines), I actually quite like him. Since I'm apparently one of the few whose Green Goddess figure didn't explode into several pieces, he actually goes quite well with her on my shelf.

I agree, he looks very good standing next to her.

What really rocks me though is that vintage style He-Man head. I feel like I finally have a "real" He-Man figure instead of the the stand in that's been on my shelf the last couple of years. It's really breathed new life into my appreciation for the classics He-Man figure. Before he was just okay, but not quite right. Now he's nearly perfect (what we need now is the vintage style weapons and maybe a version with a bit more red in the shorts and boots)

the figure is ok, but the idea of him is what i love. the miniternia he-man, pre-failmation, conan-clone barbarian that kills & uses a battle axe. he dates teela, & she respects him because is no silly dual identity, his name is NOT adam. he may be a thundarr knock off but he's my he-man.
