  • The Fwoosh's review: MOTUC FF He-Man vs TC Skeletor, the return of the fat armor!

    Check it out here: http://thefwoosh.com/2015/10/first-l...claws-skeletor

But I'm mostly disappointed in He-Man's fat armor:

Skeletor's face paint is bad. They didn't even attempt to try with that. Just a huge yellow brush slopped across his whole face.

Well, at least you could swap his head with another version as an option, but that Flying Fist He-Man armor is ruined for good!

The armor isn't really that fat, but it's asymmetrical (even more so than usual)

It's loose and you better check it again, especially if you see Pixel Dan's video...

I don't know, it doesn't look any fatter than the armor we got just before we had the chronic fat armor problem. Not far off from Fisto's armor. It's not like this:

Was curious and compared those two images side-by-side. What strikes me:

      - The helmet helps balance the figure - even with the fat armor. He-Man looks like he has shrunken head, Beetlejuice style.
      - He-man has ZERO waist. It's like when Gimli tosses on some chain mail, "It's a little tight across the chest!"

The other figure has added bulk to the shin guards and such that make the fat armor not as annoying (to me), He-Man is a very stream-lined figure in comparison.
He-Man needs to throw on a paper bag and go sit in the corner. Or be locked in the basement.

The armor looks odd to me. Sits too high above the shoulder. They should have done something similar to Battle Armor He-Man (snap-on armor).

Yeah, the snap on armor was the best. They can't seem to get flexible armor right anymore

Well although it's part of his armory, not a real favorite He-man of mine; so this figure will be reborn into a whole new character with some modifications.

I will probably end up just putting an original He-Man armor on him. I remember in the minicomics that they showed him wearing the classic armor when displayed with the flying fist weapons. Still, this is a disappointing figure. I had high hopes for him after Hurricane Hordak came out.

they insist on putting the tabs on the lats instead of the back the way they did with flipshot.

I am very curious to see what the "Terror Claws" armor will look like on Battle Armor Skeletor. The paint on his chest looks to match the paint used on the Terror Claws armor. I was never a fan of the armor bikini look on Skeletor, so this buck might look a bit better with that armor.

I'd like to see this too. Has anyone tried the armor swap yet?

So I received mine last night, and I just opened them up moments ago, not a shabby set of figures in hands since I've seen worse before! However, the reason why the armor on He-Man looks so fat/loose because the plastic is ridiculously thick unlike the first BA He-Man or BA Skeletor!

Probably they've opted for this gummier plastic design to insure less breakage of the tabs or incase the figure falls on a hard surface accidentally!
