What a crappy, slanted survey.
Totally reminds me of what Emiliano said about Val making that future MOTU books poll but only including questions that benefited Val's motives, so he could take the results to Dark Horse.
So much Filmation, and whenever Filmation stuff is an option, there's never any 'none of the above' options. You have to pick something whenever Filmation characters are involved. Yet other factions like mini comics, you can choose none of the above....
Makes me wonder if that mental midget degra helped design the poll. I'm sure that buffoon is singing it's praises over at sycophant.orgComment

A few things were missed on the poll, but not surprising that some might get missed by accident on a poll that large. I would really like to see the Mutant Troopers from New Adventures get made.

After a few really hyped up Filmation characters, I rated everyone else a 1. I think that's where Filmation characters are at right now. All of the major wanted characters are coming out. Sure there are a few leftovers like Hunga, Dylamug, Granita, Kittrina and maybe the Twiggets, but after that? MYP is also near the end of it's rope as far as original characters. The Oracle, Queen Andreeno and Miro. Are some of the only one's left to make. There are the ABC Giants too, but they are something else.Comment

...that's just off the top of my head, and is over a year's worth of figures right there. TG checked out the forums to see what the fans wanted (loads of threads and polls on all the MOTU forums), but he also sprinked in the figures that HE wanted. Unwanted One, King He-Man, Mighty Spector, Sir Laser-Lot, He-Ro II, etc. We got the Unwanted One during the wrap-up year, where character slots are supposed to be valuable.Originally posted by GREP-A-TOR View Post
He really didn't need an official poll. He saw the names that were ALWAYS brought up year after year.
Now current day Mattel does need official polls, because they don't check out the forums as often as TG did.

I think it is pretty well established that that is the forum that exists only in his head.
I, also, would have been happy to get a Nepthu if it was handled better and if the figure itself was better executed. And Tamusk is one of the few Filmation randos I would be thrilled to get. Burly, bearded barbarians FTW!
