OK, we all know what this is... but would you be interested in a MotUC sub based on the characters in this line, after 2015, of course?

Well, we know who Glenn is, and we might get a Matt Mason... as for the other 3, how do you picture them? Discuss!

It's so awesome that you guys are still "into" the line enough to want more...I hate being a downer, but I really don't want any additions or continuations or sequels, I just want the current line to end, preferably soon - complete or not, a positive end is just that - an end.

That's OK Dark Angel. We have all types of fans here. Also, we do realise that this is just talk. There is no way Mattel would be making these figures... not unless Anti-Guru is actually Scott Nietlich in disguise

Hey there...no disrespect intended, but can someone please help me understand the "I hope it all ends as soon as I get everything I want" mentality? I see it all over the .Org and at Matty. Frankly, I find it a little baffling. Like, I literally don't understand it and want someone to explain it to me. There are tons of things I don't collect, but I don't hope they stop existing. If MOTUC reached a point where I was no longer interested in the figures...I'd just stop buying them and move on, wishing well to everyone else that was still into it. I wouldn't hope it ended when I finished, and leave everyone else hanging.
Again, not trying to be a jerk. I'm genuinely curious. What is the motivation behind wishing an end to the line, when you could just quit when you're done?

I don't know about buying figures but I'd like to know more about the concept. Seems one of the more interesting things to come out if the bios.

The "Project Photog" bio for Captain Glenn was created before Mattel made contact with Nathan Bitner and got his approval to make the Fearless Photog figure for MOTUC. It was a nice nod to Fearless Photog, and to Nathan Bitner by having one of the astronauts be named after him. I interviewed Nathan Bitner a few years ago, and I was the one who put him in contact with Scott Neitlich after he told me that he still wanted to see his figure get made. It would be cool if DC Comics could find a way to tie this potential "Project Photog" storyline into a Fearless Photog comic book in the future.

I enjoyed the idea of the Matt Mason / Project P.H.O.T.O.G linkage and even with Marlena's Captain Glenn bio I re-tweaked it to incorporate it as well as create a fan fic of the events that led her aboard that 'Starship' and eventually "wind up" on Eternia without (hopefully) being too cheesy! I would've love to see this explored but this would definitely be time-placed somewhere in between PreTernia and a little farther down during King Miro's reign. Figure wise hmmm, unsure as to the fact I haven't figure where Matt and crew would've wound up unless they could be already in the MOTU timeline and we just don't know...

And if not adding Matt and his crew to the line, but maybe we can add those two aliens to create a better connection....

I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't expand on this in SDCC 2014...

Hopefully they could next year once the vintage stuff is dealt with.

My dad was a huge fan of Matt Mason as a kid. He teases me and my brother about liking He-Man stuff, but he loves going online and checking out those old astronaut toys. I think there is definitely an older audience out there for Matt Mason who would buy that stuff up in a heartbeat.

I think that a "MATT MASON" toy line would sell well on its own with adult collectors. Having Marlena Glenn be part of that line would be cool (and a good way to get a variant of her in a white astronaut suit). I see no need to slap the MOTU name on a Matt Mason toy line, as it has a large fan base all on it's own. Havingsaid that, including Marlena in that series (a popular female character) would be a smart way to attract Masters of the Universe fans.

But could you imagine that Doug Davis would somehow become Master Sebrian???
