Well, this was posted by Neitlich in one of the threads at the Org (P.S. I wonder why he keep mixing "their" with "there"?!):

I've always thought it odd that over the years fans were convinced I had motives or their were any conspiracies. The truth is I was doing everything to just keep the line going. Their wasn't time for motives or the like.

As or the current doom and gloom, don't we seem to go through this every year only to be proven wrong? Leaving it (properly) for Mattel to comment. I am a fan only now. (Ps: buy awesome Jada Metals figs, Suicide Squad now on sale!)

    :-P

I hope the line dosent end now with the Thundercats coming. I mean it only took 30 years to get them made in the same scale. So hopefully it continues...

I personally want more Thundercats by the 4H, they are just astonishing.

That being said, I hope a deal gets worked out so we can see a few more mutants and Bengali plus both forms of Jaga.

At the very least, I would petition/pay into kickstarter for a Tygra/Cheetara 2-pack for an exclusive somewhere.

Well, the prototype is ready and they have the license, so I would hope so without asking $1000 for it!

As fas as I know, the Snake Mountain has already been resized by the 4HM and was sent to Mattel's design/engineering team months ago!... Even Cornboy from the 4HM team has confirmed it during NYTF 2016.

Oh you mean the bluetooth speaker gimmick they had in the first prototype, LOL?... I don't know if this was still in consideration!

I don't believe Snake Mountain will happen just because Super 7 already sees it as a risk and costly to make.

      Mattel just doesn't care

Sure, things seem to be heading in that direction I'm afraid! :-/

I think it will happen. Just do a Kickstarter campaign. It will sail through!

Even if tooling is $500K and production is another $500K, they'll still generate 1 million in sales. Think of it. You could sell it for $400 and you'd only need to sell 2500 of them. There are at least that many people who would pony up $400 for this set. I know I would in a heartbeat!

Count me in, without having the Snake Mountain, the line would just look totally wrong IMO.

I just watched the Pixel Dan interview with Brian Flynn of Super7...

At least he didn't close the door on Snake Mountain. Basically, let them get their feet wet making the Collector's Choice and Club Grayskull figures (as they haven't even finalized what factory will be making the figures w/ Mattel molds yet), and that something like Kickstarter would be the most likely route to gauge if there's enough interest to go forward making the playset.

All we can do is let Super7 know we're still interested and hopefully they'll eventually test the waters with a Kickstarter campaign.

Sounds like things could work out for the better. Slightly higher cost but a team that actually cares about pleasing fans. Seems like a win-win.

SM prospect is there, vehicles on the table... Fright Zone seems like it could even be made if all goes well. Fingers crossed! Watching the video with PD made me pretty optimistic for the future of the line. Good stuff.
