It's already been posted in the other thread:

But I don't think it hurts to posted again I guess...

I'm intrigued by the MOTU movie figures comment........About the rumor how the guy holding the rights to the 87 movie isn't exactly Mattel's biggest fan and that's been a major stumbling block to getting figures made. I'm hoping with Super 7 running the show now, maybe this guy will work with Super 7 so characters like Karg can be made as a MOTUC figure. ..... if nothing else so this guy can essentially 'stick it' to Mattel by having these figures made by a company other than Mattel. Basically, please sir let Super 7 make Karg and others from the movie purely out of spite for Mattel. lol

Captain Atkin, you're the 87 movie aficionado, how much of this have you heard about before???

Brian Flynn said something about being able to make new characters and something akin to having free reign (paraphrasing here), so any chance Emiliano can do some friendly consulting again? I'd imagine there's some type of good relationship after the Mark Taylor portfolio exclusive this past weekend.

I think he put his foot in his mouth about the movie stuff. I'm sure that will piss Mattel off. Anyway hopefully they materialize. I love the movie and want a whole bunch of figures from it.

Somewhat optimistic after listening to this, and have my fingers crossed for Snake Mountain and more vehicles!

Same here, it might be a tough journey in the beginning, but let's hope things will sail smoothly without hiccups.

Again, MOTU wasn't just about the figures, it was about a complete toy line experience, and I think vehicles, beasts, accessories and playsets are a huge part of that wonderful experience!

Yep. I want every single item that was released in the vintage line right down to Stilt Stalker, otherwise it will feel incomplete to me.

Movie figures would be cool. If I was them, I would consider releasing a few in the retro 3.75" line first. The black robot guards would be great for army building.
