  • He-Man Thundercats Crossover Figures?

I sure hope Super 7 is planning to give us some figures from the new crossover comics. Particularly I'd really like to see the Thundercat Battle Cat turned into a figure... he looks awesome!!!

It's a very long shot IMO... Probably it could happen when they get ahold of the Thunder-Cat lisense first.

From what I've seen thus far, most of the MOTU characters in that comic are heavily based on the MOTUC figures when it comes to design and color schemes if I'm not mistaken, maybe a few tiny discrepancies but not much!

Issue 4 finally felt like we're getting somewhere. The splash page near the back seriously needs to be a poster.

Thunder Battle or whatever you wanna call him was a nice unexpected surprise. Based on his size compared to Beastman and the Mutants, I'm sure he could be made out a standard size buck but built up like dactys or calix.

      Hope this is alright.

Not a fan, but He'd be new head, new "neckpiece" and new loincloth.

Mattel has been itching to make a Battle Cat Man for awhile now. We first saw a concept like that in an artbook.

There is also the He-Armor and the floating Castle Grayskull with the chains.

The Thundercats comic version is the only version I have liked of Battle Cat in this form.

He looks alot like that concept art but with an added Thundercats symbol.

Maybe now that Lion-o has a new ability of power beyond power, he-man will have new abilities too.

If they really have a hard-on for making Battle Cat Man then they'll make a means to that end.

Yes, the series goes back to familiarity. Familiar roles and designs. After the Eternity War, I really happy about that.

Unfortunately, the worst problem is that Rob David's writing characters with modern voices and his lack of ThunderCat canon knowledge and personalities (like only Lion-O can see Jaga or would Panthro and Tygra really diss MAA's technology). The Fans of Power podcast from PopCultureNetwork does a good job breaking down all the MOTU canon aspects that David got wrong.

Thanks for the podcast recommendation, I should look into it when I have the time... And I agree with you about "the modern voice" script even though it didn't bother me as much!
I think the beautiful art and the action got my attention the most, and it oversights the nitpicking.
