8 Classic figures and 8 Filmation figures every year--Who do you want for 2017?

According to Brian Flynn from Super 7, we'll be getting a wave of 4 MOTUC figures every quarter! 8 Classic figures and 8 Filmation figures!

POP Filmation cartoon characters are off the table for this year due to rights issues, but might be available in 2018. So no Hunga, Dylamug, Granita, Acrobad, etc.

Who would you want? Choose 8 new Classic figures and 8 new Club Grayskull figures!

It's two waves of four for both Classics and Filmation. 16 figures in all, but 8 of them Classics and 8 Filmation.

or it could mean 2 classics & 2 cartoon each quarter (4 figures every quarter) so annually: 8 classics & 8 cartoon.

I think it might go something like this.

Wave 1: four classics figures, summer
Wave 1: four Filmation figures, fall
Wave 2: four classics figures, winter
Wave 2: four Filmation figures, spring
(or wave 3 & 4, depending on how you look at it)

since S7 revealed the first four classics here's the 4 I currently want the most:

-Garn (Filmation Look): Mostly because he's virtually a new loincloth, head, harness and feet. Everything else comes from Nepthu, Lodar (reuse them chains), and Sea Hawk
-Kayo: Cause Guru hates him...
-Skeleteen: We have Dare as the "new He-Man", so we need his "Skeletor" just to have symmetry.
-King Miro (200X Look): To complete the Royal Family and have some 200X in the house

Now while I'm not fond of the Filmation sub-line here's my top 8 picks:

It seems like Mattel has screwed Super7 with this license deal of theirs, all tooling/molds should've been checked before announcing it to the public, let alone taking those Pre-Orders!

Well, the Classics and the Filmation figures are ready for pre-order early May, at least that's what Brian has confirmed in his latest video... So we'll see what happens through out the year!

Even if they only do 4 and 4 this year, who really cares? I'd rather see them try to do things right first, rather than rushing and screwing up.
They did have to make a deal with the devil (Mattel) after all just to get the license. One can only imagine the lies, red tape, and just plain bull shit they must be dealing with from those assholes at Mattel legal looking over their shoulders.
The main thing is each wave is successful enough to warrant an additional wave. Is it really that important that 8 and 8 figures are released in 12 months instead of maybe 15 months, or possibly even up to 18 months?
Frankly, it's nice to see a company listen to it's customers regarding things like the payment plan and adding additional figures once you place an order for all 4 so you can army build or get a second of a figure like Delora to display second head.
If implementing stuff like that adds to the delays, then I'm fine waiting a little longer. Better than the old way when Mattel would trot out Neitlich to tell us things like that were impossible to do, or how Matty's crack research staff is finding on "other websites" that fans don't even want options like that anyway....

For people collecting both Classics and Club Grayskull, it's a good thing that payment plan is now available. What a brutal kick to the pocketbook to have to pay upfront for all 8 and the rather expensive shipping costs all at once.

Makes me glad I don't have much interest in the Filmation line, can't really afford both quite frankly.

.....although I've always been a Tri-Klops fan, so hopefully Shecky will be offering singles. *hin, hint*????

As I've mentioned in the other S7 forum, the "Payment Plan" now is available when you order your CC/CG figure sets and figures. Just make sure to apply the Code PAYMENTPLAN when you check out and before hitting the complete payment button.
