Wow! This Webstor Masterverse figure looks amazing!!!!! The sculpt is superb, and I also like the spider-backpack, the orange laser rifle w/grappling hook, etc.
I never got the Classics Webstor (never collected that line due to it being online-only, etc.) - but getting this figure will be even better, since I find this figure/sculpt to be superior to the Classics version.
It is a cool looking Masterverse figure. I just wish the knees were different. Still cool though. My favorite Webstor is honestly the staction. When you have it or see it in person it's so easy to slip off and catch yourself just staring at it.
I think that Webstor always has amazing box art on the packaging and this hit it out of the park.
I'm slowly warming up to slender Adam. I saw a pic of him, that maybe was posted here. A review of him? can't remember., then I soured on him because he looked feminine to. I had to take a closer look and was like yep. Based off the show. That explains it. But this appears to be a bit better looking figure, apps, sculpt than I saw before.
Powered up? Powering up? Skeletor. Um. ok.
Champ Clamp/Clamp Champ. Still can't remember his name. Still not bothered that I can't remember it. However. I got to say, not looking to shabby.
Webstor. Eh. Nothing fancy. Didn't have the vintage. Have the Classics. In fact he's been, literally,, just hanging around by his grappling hook.
As for the art. For all of them. DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN! That is some mighty fine art. Figures do a decent job of living up to it.
OK, I will admit that the Webstor Staction looks amazing. I like how the Spider-legs (coming out of his back) on the Staction are obviously supposed to be organic. Never got into the MOTU Stactions, because they were statues & not figures.
Conversely, the Spider-legs coming out of the back of the Masterverse version are obviously part of his back-pack, and are mechanical instead of organic.
Got my Vykron today. Took him, along with Wun-Dar and Grizzlor, out of their shipping packages.
The packaging. Blah blah epic art blah blah. Goes without saying. What stands out to me is it's so compact. I look at the box and go it's so compact. And how did they get everything in there.
As for the packaging with Grizzlor and Wun-Dar is the sketch art on the box. Even the sketch art is nice.
Same with Smurf He-Man. I didn't want to take Smurf He-Man out of the box because I was if I took him out I'd ruin the box.
In the Revelation series, she's the Goddess of the Techno Cult that some of the Evil Warriors like Tri Klops and Trap Jaw have adapted as their new guidance.
I still recommend watching it if you have Netflix, and probably you can find it streamed else where for free. You don't have to like it (neither did I) but it gives you at least some of the direction of how Mattel is handling the property currently and maybe in the future?!
And I haven't read yet any of the new comics that are inline with this new canon, so I don't have a good picture other what I saw in this animation series.
Eldor can indeed be an Origins new one. However, it is possible that it is a MV from "Revolutions", as Revelations brought characters from Preternia and the second season may bring others, but Despondos it is hard to say something.
A playset. If there was a figure it'd be called Despondor--Evil Spirit of Despondos.
I like the name. The twisting of the name.Add this one on. Evil (-Lyn) Powers.
Bow would make a nice Masterverse figure.
Origins Eldor makes sense.
The Evil-Lyn name was a connotation derived from Evelyn inconspicuously, but Neitlich decided to give her that earthly American name by choice!
If you like it, that's your prerogative of course, but I find it just dumb to have such a name in universe especially when the character isn't even from our Planet!
Recently picked up the Masterverse/New Eternia Whiplash. Amazing figure. Very detailed sculpt, tail, and spear. I don't mind the New Eternia "look", but really like how you can remove the armor/helmet & have this look like the traditional Vintage/Origins '80's Whiplash - nice. This is definitely my favorite version of this character - so far.
