I saw those posted on Instagram yesterday, but I wasn't sure what to make of them, but it seems they're limited articulated 7"-8" figures with stylized slender and taller bodies, and people claim that they're probably limited to Brazil or the South American market:

Yes, I saw these pictures earlier. Interesting figures, though I don't know if they'll ever hit the U.S.
I definitely like that Man-at-arms retains the Vintage look without the mustache, etc.
However, I don't like how these will probably be larger than the regular MOTU Origins figures, and therefore won't be compatible. (Conversely, it's great that both MOTU Origins & Masterverse have been that they're roughly the same scale - so they're essentially compatible with each other).
So, even in the unlikely event that they are available in the U.S. - given that I don't really want to collect another set of MOTU toys in a larger scale - I'll probably pass on these. That is, unless they're an amazing price.

The ideal would be 12 inch for them, 12 collectors (DC Spinmaster, STAR WARS or POWER RANGERS Hasbro) will like so much to find Motu in this scale, i guess, but if they be 7 inch, this may starts a competition with Masterverse which i see no sense.

In US, i could believe would no competition, but in latin America with low purchasing power and a high exchange rate, the prices can be no attractive for who collect both, i guess.
I would really like them to be 1/6, I could want a Teela to accompany my other characters on the same scale, if they are 7, I won't be interested in any, not even for a custom.

According to Jay from JDL (the You Tube channel), he just attended the Toy Fair in Germany yesterday, and he spotted a bunch of the upcoming MOTU releases in Mattel's booth, however this new 7" line wasn't even presented or discussed, which would confirm the Brazil/South America exclusivity.
So I don't think Mattel is worried too much about its influences on the other MOTU lines that are current...
Maybe in the future the 1/6 (12" scale) could be considered by Mattel, but I don't think it will happen anytime soon while MONDO has that license in effect.
