Maybe they were (in Mattel's system!), but it just looks off and not very pleasing to me.

I've mentioned the paint job conundrum on her armor, but I didn't specify the colors of her shoulders because I thought they were suppose to be like that!

My Scorpia arrived today and I'm not happy. What is up with the orange shoulders? Terrible paintwork. Why has nobody mentioned this yet? It doesn't really show in the photos, but in hand it looks awful.

My Scorpia arrived the other day. Really happy with this figure, if only all the females had their likeness captured so well. Got Modulok and Glimmer this week too but Scorpia is easily my favourite of the three. She is also the first figure I've got that has the bobblehead issue but to me its not a big deal. I even like her bio and wish more horde members followed her example and stayed on Etheria.

"Bulking up the ranks of the Evil Horde" or "Just another silly toy in my collection that I'll smile when I see, and never take out of the package, because well, Mattel has made a cheap gummy tail accessory that I don't want to warp, stain or tear"

    Hmm.

    I agree, that's also why I also love Evil-Lyn...

^^Lol. I just left the dialogue work to you, sir.

I love how much attitude this figure can express. And it is SOOO refreshing to get a female who has such great head movement (though the collar hinders slightly). I often lament the dearth of pony-tails and short hairdos in MOTU/POP.

You forgot to add some cheesy comments on those pics:

    1) You pervert, what's the big deal, yes I forgot to shave that spot!
    2) Cindy Crawford, eat your hear out!
    3) Stop right there missy, this is my moment!
    4) What are you looking at, punk!

I think I see what you're talking about, on my figure:

Leaves some of the joint exposed.

Anyhow, that is really the only negative I can find about this figure. THIS IS A GREAT FIGURE. Here are a few more pics:

No, actually...this isn't something people are comfortable talking about, but the Horsemen have always had a real problem sculpting anything symmetrical. They just can't do it, apparently. Its been a problem throughout their work for years, not just with Mattel or MOTUC product.

The more pictures I see of her out of package, the more I like her.

Yeah, some of her scorpion armor/elements were a bit too maroonish/pinkish in color to my surprise, and the online pics presented her in a brighter reddish scheme!... But overall, she remains one of the coolest female figures we had thus far.

Glad you like her. As long as she isn't as dark a red as shadow weaver it won't bother me much.

If you're referring to who I think you are, let's just say I might have more figures bought with my own money that said individual may have bought with his.

Really looking forward to this one arriving and hope to have her before the end of the month. Thankful that this one went from prototype to production without cheapening the final product too much.

Wow, nice, you still have weaver. I think you have more figures than a particular mod at another forum ...

Well I have to admit that I went for Scorpia, after checking her out a bit more I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt since the head sculpt is indeed awesome. If I like it once in hand I'm going to re-build my Evil Horde faction containing the sinister five from Earl Norem's poster along with the three main girls from Filmation. I still have Mantenna and Modulok boxed as well as Shadow Weaver so it should be easy to get the remaining baddies.

And here's hoping for a killer Slime Pit set to embellish the display or - better yet - an amazing rendition of the Fright Zone by the Four Horsemen, a guy can dream can't he?

I just don't care that the Venom figure is a retail line figure or not ! I really don't give a f**k ! I want to have nice figures for the hard earned money I spend, that's all ! I'm not a manager, and I don't care about the industry ! The ONLY important thing about my toys is the quality of the figures I buy !

Clearly, Scorpia was botched, when she could have been perfect. Her sculpt is spot-on, but once again, she's totally lacking in the quality department !

More articulation in the tail would have been nice, but I worry that they would have screwed it up, and we would have ended up with a figure that didn't look as nice.

Overall, I am very happy with the final look of this figure. I was pretty disappointed when I saw the initial figure a few months ago, but it looks like they found I way to fix the issue.

I'd give credit for this figure if the Blade figure didn't tick me off so much.
