Mech, that description is certainly a surprise. Will be interesting to see what the set factually is.

The Hordak Strikes and Landshark sets are available for preorder on BBTS:

    Hordak Strikes

    Landshark

Then on Amazon, I found this:

    Havoc Staff Exclusive

No price, no means to add to cart at this time.

I've seen it before not long ago, but I thought it wasn't an official set!

If it's $300, might as well be a real magical staff that takes you through a portal hole to Eternia or Despondos!... Seriously though, even it's made out of real LEGO bricks; it won't cost more than $200 max, probably between $120-$160 more likely!

$300 is pretty pricey.... but man, that Havoc Staff is awesome!

I forgot to show this off before. My buddy who's a lego guy sent me a link that has all the instructions for MotU in PDF form in case someone ever wants to piece together whatever.

Great to know, it looks like yours and mine are from the same batch...

Hopefully MCX would reveal more characters and sets over at Power-Con this weekend in addition to what we already know is coming.

Got mine today and OMG Man-E-Faces is the best Mega minifig yet. I am totally down with this little dude, wish I could get a second w/o buying the whole set...

The Man-E-Faces suppose to be in the advent calendar, however I'm not sure if this set is still happening or not... I'm assuming he'll be available in an upcoming set down the road.

        And I agree he's awesome.

Ok, here is a pic of what it could be the "Hordak Strikes" and the Land Shark sets from the upcoming Power-Con perhaps?!... I'm not sure yet if Hordak Strikes is a buildable figure like the description we've seen earlier on, or actually this Monstroid set that comes with She-Ra, Hordak and Rio Blast(?):

Click image for larger version Name:	1631328420301.jpg Views:	0 Size:	185.9 KB ID:	56722

The Land Shark set obviously comes with BA Skeletor and the regular vintage version of Roboto...

I wonder why in hell people still take such a fuzzy picture in 2021, do they still have flip phones from the early 2000's or something?

Edit: From Pixel-Dan's video streaming from Power-Con, the Hordak Strikes is actually the Monstroid set, but the fuzzy third mini figure is actually Prince Adam and not Rio-Blast!

I'm like just you, but that's why I'll be selling at least 50% of my LEGO collection, 80% of my unopened MOTU Classics and my design/hobby books!... Especially after signing up yesterday for a new toy brand by the 4HM; Cosmic Legions.

Sometimes it's better to enjoy the quality and the uniqueness of what you have (and create) over the quantity of what you owe, and it's good to recycle stuff from time to time.

I just opened the 5 pack with He-Man, Skeletor, Teela, Faker, and uhm...Beast Man today. I'm a little disappointed.

I first saw these things at a flea market where someone had the Beastman single pack. I got home and googled them because it looked pretty cool. A tiny articulated, detailed figure.

I had trouble getting these things out of the molded plastic and had pieces shooting across the room before I could even see what they were. Thankfully I was able to collect them all, but honestly these things are too small for my clumsy hands and there's no way in hell I'm paying $274 for a building block Castle Grayskull when I can get a real one for origins for $80.

OK, well, this is a sightings thread. Maybe you want to start a separate thread for a review but it doesn't really sound like you have anything constructive to say.

If by constructive you mean only positive-glowing-Iagreewitheverythingyousay, then no. I think you need to deconstruct the word constructive. But since I don't understand the point of a Sightings thread apparently, I'll just bow out of the conversation.

              So, anyway.

              Lots of Amazon news:

-They finally fulfilled my Havoc Staff preorder from October at the end of January. Final price was about $71. I have not built it yet because OMFG are you kidding I really do have a life despite being a toy nerd.
-They also listed the Advent Calendar via Amazon UK briefly, but it is no longer available. I have heard conflicting information regarding whether or not it was ever even released/cancelled/etc. If you or anyone you know actually has one in hand, let us know here!
-Back in March, the "Zombie He-Man and Horde Pit" AKA Slimed He-Man and The Slime Pit appeared on Amazon and has been in and out of stock off and on ever since. I managed to score one, and it is easily the most creative and best use of the Skeletor Skull sets yet. Based on the co-sells in its instructions, the Fisto Rock Climber and He-Man Jet Sled have been retired, while the mini comic Trap Jaw and Zodac Scuba Attack should still be available.

Finally, the Land Shark (with toy version Roboto and another BA Skeletor, not the Skeletor pictured on pg. 1 with toy Roboto) and Monstroid sets are seeing wide release in the past couple weeks, so PoP and Horde representation has been accomplished. At this point, I consider every tiny step a major victory for this little line, and getting both Hordak and She-Ra is awesome.

Wow, I didn't realize that you've replied back. This board doesn't show new posts/replies anymore if it's not a thread or a post you're already created! Which is dumb!
I still haven't gotten the time or the mood to build the last new sets, and I'm also trying to avoid any reviews so I get to enjoy the builds myself. Believe it or not, I haven't build the Castle Grayskull set to this day because I ran out of space to display it. I have to disassemble and clean(dust-off) a lot of other LEGO stuff and rearrange my shelves to find a proper space for it!
Anyhow I'm glad to know that the Land Shark and the Monstroid sets still have a good quality to them including those minifigures. And I really hope we get to see new reveals of more vehicles and playsets soon just to give us hope that this line isn't dead yet!
Powe-Con and Comic-Con are a little far away, but then again, we're already in the middle of April! (Crazy)

It's all good, man. I think the builds are satisfying but I know you get into the more complicated stuff. I'm sure you will like them, but I doubt you will be remotely challenged - but you know that. And yeah, CG takes up a LOT of space...but so worth it, at least to me. It's basically impossible to display the Classics CG with a grouping of other figures and vehicles unless you have an entire room at your disposal, but the Mega version lets me do that while basically only eating up one shelf. Well, OK, 2 shelves due to height.Still more economical than an entire room!

I honestly love simple builds as well so long as they do their job and they're sturdy enough to hold and to play with. Of course "juniorized" big elements can do that as well but using them extensively defeats the good building experience.

As for CG, once I free up some dedicated space and I'll build it and see how it looks with the rest of the MOTU MCX stuff, I'd enjoy it for like 2-4 weeks and then dissemble it before it collects so much dust. I live in a building and an area where wind and dust are a power force. Construction is perpetual around here!
My assemble LEGO, statues and my displayed MOTUC need some rigorous cleaning effort and energy. Sigh...

Sorry I haven't been on in while again; let's go through this news one at a time:

Snake Mountain is certainly something else and the idea of what it might costs is mildly horrifying.

This is the first we've seen of Ram Man, Webstor, classic Trap Jaw and Screech - however, these are renders, not actual figures, so have to wait to see if they actually happen. Ram Man is a combo of new and old parts that I am not sure work for the character, and Screech is the Zoar mold that has thus far only accompanied Sorceress releases. Webstor is quite spiffing.

The video has some interesting takes. The He-Man is obviously a Revelations version based on the harness symbol, but not sure the Prince Adam is supposed to represent Revelations Prince Adam, and the extra legs on Webstor come from 200X, not Classics. Prince Adam honestly just looks like a more color saturated classic Prince Adam to me. Same with Evil-Lyn, whose crystal ball is a new piece.

Obvs the He-Man and Skeletor variants are new.

All that said, this certainly makes me feel better about the future of the line, although I am still wondering what on earth it will all cost...

I think Ram Man looks good enough as a MCX interpretation and a good compromise overall, the shoulder armor might be a little short probably to prevent the hindrance of the arm articulations. Everything else you said I pretty much agree with.

As for the Snake Mountain, I have feeling it could be somewhere around $300-$350 if the current sped up inflation was considered. Anything above that could kill its major appeal for most collectors.

BTW, a few days ago LEGO has announced they'll be raising their prices up to 33% on 1/4 of their products despite the multi billions of their net profit earnings last year and the year before! That besides their latest markups on many of their products in the last years even on their original none licensed themes!... People online aren't happy at all with this news; I can tell you that!

That Lego news is nuts...but they must have some kind of metrics that tell them they can get away with it, otherwise why do it? Time will tell how it plays out, I guess.

They're (LEGO) doing it because they "can", and also can take/absorb the hit at this time if their risky move fails.

Yes they're expanding their business to a degree, and building new facilities and probably investing in a new manufacturing technology, but I believe "greed" adding to their rising popularity with shows and stuff might be their main reason behind it, or they could have some national investment in mind, and what I mean by "national" here is supporting Denmark's economy?! Who knows...

At the end of the day, the online crowd aren't happy for the time being. especially when considering we are diving into a financial nightmare according to predictions, and LEGO is more or less a high end brand in the toy industry which most people can skip easily for more important life essentials.
