So, this might be the last of Mattel's SDCC reveals of the Origins line for now. I've noticed the lack of accessories and extra heads as discussed before, but to me the lack of proper paint apps on armors, vambraces, skin above the boot cuts and such, takes away from the excitement a little from committing to another MOTU line! Also the choice of using plain looking feet instead of detailed ones on Beastman is just lazy!
I was really hoping to see a few more core figures, like Stratos, Ram-Man, Man-E-Faces, Mer-Man, Trap-Jaw and Try-Klops, not to mention the original beasts like Battle-Cat, Panthor, Zoar and Screech. and at least some sort of prototypes of a couple iconic vehicles like Battle-Ram and the Wind-Raider, or even a cardboard cut of Castle Grauskull, just to stir things up a little and add to the excitement!
Well, I hope things will change and improve before the official release date of Fall 2020, more than a year from now, and we get to see something or hear more news about this line at Power-Con in a few more weeks!
