I'd say Stridor for example would sell in the US for like $30-$40 if he's a plain unit, and for $50+ if he comes with a figure and/or accessories.

I’d imagine Stridor would be the same price as the Wind Raider, no? Same with the deluxe figures, I’d assume they’ll be the same price as the other deluxe figures.
……Although, in Canada, our newer figures have a one dollar increase. Vintage head He-man and vintage head Skeletor just came out and they’re $15.99, meanwhile remnants of earlier waves are still $14.99 at the moment. So at least here there’s a price increase coming

I think the new COVID economy has started to kick in.

My local Wal-Mart's are all putting the 2020 He-man and Skelly's on clearance for $11.19 USD. I honestly hope that opens up pegs for anything after wave 1.“You could reach any goal you want, it just might mean taking the circular path.” ~Daniel Larusso

Is there anymore information about Stridor? I've seen it available for pre-orders at toywiz and a few other sites, but not the big ones like BBTS, EE, or any major retailers. It's listed at Amazon Canada, but not listed as available, and actionfigure411 has it slated for a 2022 release.
But I've come to the conclusion that the only way to get any of this stuff at retail is to pre-order it, or get very lucky finding it in person. The minute they're actually released online the price seems to go up by $5 minimum and climb from there.

I wouldn't consider them the big 3 either but they have the only information I could find that seems plausible.
I checked american Amazon, bbts, and ee and got nothing. Then I checked gamestop, walmart, target, even Meijer and still notta. So I went down my list of toy/comic places and those two had the least bit of information that I could find about stridor. I'm also not sure what was really said about him at power-con where I believe he was unveiledLast edited by Andy; 10-22-2021, 11:45 PM.

Funny you say that, Val's site has no search feature any longer. I have to type into google "he-man.org power-con stridor origins" which really yields nothing. I remember hearing the repaint remark somewhere as well though.
Most searches for power-con origins stridor will take you to twitter or reddit. I guess as they said in Spaceballs, "Even in the future nothing works!"

So, I'm seeing a few auctions on eBay where they have pictures and claim they have Stridor "in hand" and ready to ship. Mattel's distribution continues to baffle me. Did you guys know the Eternian Guard exclusive has been spotted in certain Big Lots and even went on sale for $10 during Thanksgiving?

I'm really looking forward to the Stridor figure with the articulated legs. I only had the Vintage one back in the day. And, while that toy looked OK - it was essentially a statue & couldn't move. So, this one will obviously be far superior - as are many of the Origins toys when compared to their Vintage counterparts.

Reddit reported earlier that Stridor was available on Amazon for a short period, but sold out. Every time those clowns post a find it sells out almost immediately.
The link is there now, but you can only buy from second hand sellers now that are scalping it for $73 and up: https://www.amazon.com/Masters-Unive...s%2C120&sr=8-1
BUT... I've also seen reports that Wal-Mart is starting to carry them. No word on Nightstalker, which seems like a missed opportunity.

Stridor on Amazon, comes and goes fast at this moment. Check daily for the pre-orders to pop up. I grabbed one about two weeks ago, and today I got a notice that it might ship by Saturday...

I stopped by my closest Target today on the way home from work and they did NOT have my Jimmy Dean sausage, but they did have two Stridors sitting on the shelf.
The box art clearly has what is meant to be Sun Man on the front of it, which I found interesting. There have been a few unique characters in some of the box arts, not unlike the vintage line. I noticed some skeletal warriors, and a figure that might be half of Two-Bad on Castle Grayskull, as well as a few vehicle drivers.
Also, Zoar can be found, despite the fact there's been no mention of her being available for purchase that I know of?2 Photos

Thanks for sharing and congrats...
The box art usually hints what could be coming in the next waves, but not a guarantee. So many core and none core characters, beasts, vehicles and playsets (including Snake Mountain and Eternia) have been revealed already, but that doesn't mean we'll be folded with all that goodness all at once!... We're just hoping that they'll make it before the line ends!

Though this toy is great - $73 for this is appalling. I don't like to encourage scalpers, so never pay these prices.

Recently got the Origins Stridor. Excellent toy! Amazing sculpt, and the articulated knees are much appreciated. I like the accessories, including the base, "blast effects", alternate helmet, etc. This puts the old, "Statue" Stridor to shame - wow.
Also, like the other Origins toys, the colors seem more vivid than the original version(s). And, the toy seems slightly bigger than the original as well. The box art is fantastic, and is very reminiscent of Vintage box art.
Well-done!
