I was surprised by the individual names as well thus making them specified characters!

I’ve preordered like 4 sets, so I could do my own generic mix and match armies!

I’m sure better quality pics will show up soon enough.

Didn't realize they had names. Still wish it was four snakemen. Still understand why SA He-Man is included. Still a good idea.

As for the art. Sems ok. Not being the clearest of pics kinds of ruins it for me.

I just opened her up, and she definitely looks better than I thought in hand!... Now I'm very tempted to army build her like some of the other Snake Men figures!

I just took him out of the package, and the articulated jaws make this Skeletor one of the best in the line this far... It comes with an open mouth, and once it's closed, the jaw becomes loose though, so you have to press on it to make it close again! The head looks menacing without that some of the previous unnecessary goofier sculpts we've had before.
IMHO, his newer reddish tinted purples makes him a little more premium looking as well... Screeech looks awesome as expected.

I haven't opened the set yet, but I'll find out soon enough and I'll let you know. But from the box's window, he looks great, very vintage-esque.

So now you'll be able to comment on the Skeletor head with the moveable jaw.

I finally got my Snake Teela from Amazon (in a great condition, surprisingly) and my Skeletor/Screeech 2-pack from EE today, and both look amazing in person!

Another win for Origins in my humble opinion.

    Any tin hat people here?

Well, that could add to the notion/theory that Eternia is the Earth.

(i'm not a tin hat person subscribes to that notion).

I've swum in a sulfuric diluted water before, it was hot and smells like sulfur, and it wasn't harmful, actually beneficial to a certain degree.
Also they found some bacteria surviving/living in the volcanic lava, and some animals tolerating its waters:

Some monsters and creatures surely can survive it on Eternia!

I kind of ask the same question. Is it this? Is it that? Well, it can't be..... Well, it could be.....

My head cannon justification is goo. maybe gunk.

If monsters are in or near by it then the substance can't be that hostile. I.e. acid/supheric/corrosive/whatever.

That suppose to be an acid/sulfur pool of the mountain (Since it sets around a volcano), however it does look like a quicksand from that pic! :b

I kinda like that sinister look of the 200X Snake Teela...

I suppose to receive my Origins Snake Teela on two days from Amazon., and I'm sure that I'm gonna like her a lot.

Recently got the Origins Snake Teela figure. Excellent toy! Though this is basically just a re-paint, I like the green skin, the painted scales/detail, etc.

The paint job/detail on the face of this new figure is definitely more "attractive" than the more grotesque paint job on the face of the much more sinister looking 200X Snake Teela figure (which was impossible to find back in the day). However, I like the fact that they made this new version at all - especially for those of us who wanted the first one. And, this new version does look decent.

For reference, here's a link w/more info. on the original version - which is obviously the reference for this new one:

You're welcome, and I agree with you; the box art looks amazing, one of the main reasons why I love this line. BTW, you can also see that Terroar, Lord Gr'Asp and Two Bad are hinted.

Yeah, MC's SM was sold out earlier than expected (no idea if it was in stock and ready to ship or not?), so I pre-ordered one from BBTS since I need that box art in a good conditioned. Earlier last week or so, I was able to to pre-order my first Snake Mountain from Amazon (just in case), and I might get a third one at the end of the year when it goes on sale somewhere.

That said, I think more SMs will be available again via MC... Anyhow, I can't wait to see an early video review of the actual playset.

You know. A simple look. An animated look. Like it's from a cartoon. Like it's FImation TF/PD. To go with Filmation He-Man

    Had the vintage one.
You think so? Hmm, maybe it's a bit cartoony looking from its vibrant colors and proportions, but the details on it are similar to the old toy if not better!

The Filmation aesthetics are just too simplified/bland for this line!
