Hopefully we see Wave 13 soon. I can see we will definitely be getting a 200x Teela soon.“We change people through conversation, not through censorship." ― Jay Z

I think a bunch of people started seeing them over at Walmart in Southern California... BTW, the new Teela torso definitely means a 200X vision somewhere in the line. :-)
I really hope we get to see a lot of the 200X iterations in this line, after all; the 200X Trap Jaw listing was leaked not too long ago!

Now Dragon Blaster Skeletor's card and its art... And I as expected, the squirting play feature is still intact... Also, it looks like that Bashasaurus is coming at one point since it was teased before, and of course Two Bad:

NO! I totally wasn't going to take a leak into the lava. Why you asking?!.

I got to say, that one angled view of Skeletor is NOT very flattering. Looking like he's starting to transform into a werewolf. Such a horrific overbite. Mouth agape. Not a good head sculpt. In my opinion.

Happy with all of these latest reveals:
Snake Face looks amazing; really looking forward to getting this grotesque Medusa-like figure. I vaguely remember having the Vintage version back in the day. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like this Origins version has the cool feature that the Vintage one did - i.e., pressing a lever/pushing a button on the back of the figure & enabling the snakes to come out of the eyes & mouth. However, the alternate head (with the snakes out) is almost enough to make up for this
Skeletor w/Screech is fantastic; I still need to get the Teela w/Zoar at some point.
Also wanted to ad that the card/box art for all of these forthcoming toys is incredible. I really like the new art - which definitely looks like it could have been on these MOTU packages back in the '80's - very nostalgic. Hopefully we'll get an new "Art of" book in several years, with all of the Origins/Masterverse card/box art.
Point Dread w/Talon Fighter - fantastic toy, and completely expected that this was coming out in the line. I remember the Vintage version came with a record/illustrated story-book back in the day:
This is the original audio book on record of "The Power of Point Dread" and "Danger at Castle Grayskull," the two stories that came with the original 80s vin...

Yes, the vintage PD&TF had the vinyl record and the comic book. I've got a copy of that record/comic book in a semi-great shape from eBay years ago because it was too dear to me when I was kid.
I'm glad seeing beautiful sets like this one are coming to Origins, and let's just hope a lot more vehicles are on their way.
And I agree with you on the rest of the awesome reveals, even when some of them lack the old play features.

So many reveals in a short time frame. I did preorder all the Masterverse and Origins. I'm glad BBTS doesn't charge until it's in stock.

According to Toyhabit, an image of Origins styled Fang-Or was leaked from or by a Mattel employee (?!):
But to me it still looks more like a prototype that has two sets of removable fangs with this glossy paint job, in addition to his wrench accessory.. Or it's just a custom made by fan (or an MOTU employee)!?
So if it makes into the line as an actual product, do you guys think it will have two different heads, or two sets of fangs as shown?

April 1st fool joke, or another fake leak, or an actual one?!
According to Toyhabit's sources this Night Stalker was leaked (again), yet I believe it's the Classics version and not Origins with added depth to the box underneath Skeletor's to make it look smaller, plus I don't think Mattel will do sculpting details to the upper armer instead of using a sticker:

The forthcoming Origins Moss Man looks superb, but that's par for the course with this line. The flocking & sculpt look fantastic - and I like the accessories, i.e. the extra "savage" head, the weapons, and the body armor. It's also nice & very nostalgic that it should have the "pine needle" smell that the Vintage figure did - nice. I will probably only get one of these, but may keep it packaged (for the most part) since - as with the Flocked Panthor - having his displayed loose may end up being detrimental to the flocking pattern(s).
That being said, I think I will open this at least once, and then probably put it back in the package.
Since this will be a Wal-mart exclusive, hopefully it won't be too tough to track down.

Right now the "flocking" process should sustain more durablility someone would think, no?!

Hey - good question about the Vintage flocked Panthor. IIRC, as a kid I had this back in the day & did take it out of the package. I don't remember exactly how I stored this, but I believe it was just put on a shelf somewhere, etc. & it was definitely "exposed to the elements" (but not outside). And, I do remember the flocking did eventually come off in some places, so you could see the plastic underneath. Note this wasn't from overuse/abuse - it just happened naturally. Conversely, if you kept this Vintage Panthor in the package I suspect it wouldn't have occurred (or at least not as much).
As I've mentioned in previous posts, I have always planned to keep the much newer Origins Panthor in the package due to the same concerns about this happening with the newer toy.
That all being said, yes - I suspect they've improved the flocking aspect to these toys. So, maybe this issue wouldn't be as prevalent - even if you took the new Origins Panthor & forthcoming Moss Man out of the package(s). Not sure about this, however - given that these toys are relatively new (and one hasn't even been released yet).

Thanks for your reply... Interesting to know about your experience with the vintage Panthor's flocking wearing off here and there!

Recently got the Origins Tung Lashor & the mini-comic Roboto (orange & silver). Both are fantastic figures.
- I am disappointed that the Tung Lashor doesn't have the feature (that the Vintage one had) where you can extend & detract the tongue. However, the sculpt is superior to the original figure, and you can put the tongue in the head to replicate the original "look" of the character.
I suspect that a lot of the "action features" that the '80's figures had may not be reproduced in the new figures due to concerns about excessive wear & tear (which may cause the feature to break/stop working, etc.). However, this is sheer speculation on my part.
- I like the mini-comics Roboto a lot better than I thought I would. It's got the exact sculpt as the regular Roboto, but the colors really make this figure "pop". Interesting that the mini-comic artist drew the character this way...but somehow the orange/gray/silver color combination "works" & does look decent. In any case, this is an interesting variant.

However, if the action features doesn't require internal mechanism like those backpacks on Snout Spout or Dragon Blaster Skeletor, they are likely to happen, but not always!

I'm not sure if the Road Ripper had to meet new safety guidelines or not, but at least they've replaced the action feature with an extra mandible head.
Snake Face however has a unique sculpt and it has those pull on side snakes in its torso, but they went with the articulated heads this time around, and I think that is cool for the customizers and the part swappable, plus its less prone to breakage.Last edited by Mechanizor; 04-19-2023, 11:36 PM.

Blast Attack should have his old feature plus the regular swappable parts. We shall see...
As for Rokkon and Stonedar, I hope they come in a deluxe two pack set with their additional legs like the Classics.
