In addition to the great reveal of SM yesterday, we also got some other fantastic reveals: A new Origins Moss-Man, Frog Monger, and He-Skeletor.
The Origins Moss Man looks amazing. I like the alternate "growling" head, which looks like a green version of the LoP Beast Man head. The accessories are nice as well. I'm also very impressed by the flocking here, especially given that this is an articulated figure. I've read online that this will have the "pine needle" smell - hopefully it will be as strong as in the Vintage version. If I had one complaint, it's that the regular "default" head has an goofy/strange expression...the character almost looks constipated - LOL. However, that's not a deal-breaker and, overall, the figure is very impressive.
Frog-Monger is not a character I remember much about, but it's another incredible figure & really fits in with the MOTU "aesthetic". IIRC it may have been in the Filmation cartoon?!, but have not looked this up. In any case, hopefully it's not too hard to get ahold of. I definitely want at least two of these. I don't know if this was in the Classics line, but it wasn't in the Vintage or 200X lines.
He-Skeletor simply looks like a variant of Faker w/some different paint apps. That being said, it's not a bad figure. I'll probably get this because I'm a sucker for the blue color & because I think it's an interesting looking figure. But, I'm not sure how much we "needed" this - LOL.
