This has got to be a She-Ra Barbie right?

If so, could Mattel finally be listening to the fans? Seriously, how many freaking years have people been asking for a She-Ra Barbie?
I'm not interested in POP or Barbie at all and even I've heard/read the clamoring for this over the last decade and a half.
All I know is, if I don't pick up one of these for my wife, she'll tear me a new one!

If this is possible, then how about the Hot Wheels division finally listen to the fans too and make actual Hot Wheels versions of MOTU vehicles? None of that crap white panel van with a MOTU logo slapped on the side, or a Camaro with a picture of He-Man on the hood... but an actual 1:64 Battle Ram and Land Shark, etc.

She-ra Barbie just sounds like a bad idea.

I am delighted they are doing this and I while it's not for me, I think this will sell a truck load to both die hard POP fans, doll collectors and casual fans. I have been harping on about a Barbie or doll She-Ra line for years.

I hope this could lead to a full line of dolls as strong female heroines with glamour are in short supply these days and there is I believe a big gap in the market.

The image regarding mattys sdcc exclusives show both a barbie and dc super hero girls exclusive, and list She-Ra as her own exclusive, could this be the start of a new POP line similar to how hasbro have handled Jem?

I think the $75 price is a very reasonable price for an exclusive like this. Especially with all of the goodies she comes with, like the 2 swords, 3 outfits, silver shield, switchable hands, stand, and mini-comic book. The packaging is especially nice.

I do hope that if these go to retail in the future (as a POP collectors line), the price would go down a bit. Especially for a young audience just discovering She-Ra. For a special exclusive like this, I think the $75 price tag is just right.

Just imagine how awesome it would be if the major MOTU characters were made in that 12 inch scale (instead of those discontinued Giants) with all the accessories you can think of like this one for that tag price, it would be a steal deal IMO.

My brother Darren and I (he designed the packaging) would love nothing more that to have a line like this happen and deliver POP and hopefully MOTU characters in this scale to collectors! but of course it's up to the fans, if the response is good and posts and feedback are positive Darren and I can push to make a line!

It's just too expensive for what it is. I can't justify spending $75 on it, sorry. Nice package, outfits and accessories, but not enough to warrant that high of a price. I would have expected maybe $50.

ok thanks for letting me know, is there an item out there that offers something similar to the She-Ra offering at a $50 price tag? I ask so i can reference it and see what the item was able to deliver.

She was designed specifically for collectors in mind, so we really tried to go all out on the detailing, articulation and finishes for her. But i hear you and can understand your point of view, so thanks again for sharing it.

For a collectors line, I think $75.00 is reasonable. If it were a more scaled down line (sold at retail), I would say between $34.99 to $60.00.

I'd say play arts kai figures but that too depends on the licensing.

Play arts kai boba fett was a steal with alot of accessories and whatnot.
