To celebrate the new line, MONDO created a vintage toy commercial that serves as both a fun nod to the past and a look at the future. “The concept was to do an almost shot for shot recreation of one of the vintage Masters of the Universe commercials for the 80s, the twist being that the kids in those old commercials grew up, along with the Masters of the Universe figures they’re playing with!” said Brock Otterbacher.

I just pre-ordered my figure today. I'm really excited to be getting this He-Man figure. Its the best version of the character I've ver seen!

While I don't share your opinion on this one, I still think this style looks good enough to collect.. I think the vintage head looks absolutely terrible on this body!

I'm still on the fence whether I should collect this line or not!!

I'm a bit disappointed of how Sideshow has abandoned its MOTU line to Tweeterhead, and now it's in shambles and no one knows if it's gonna survive or not!.. Nothing is official yet, but this is what collectors are speculating or claiming.

I also think they’re way overpriced. I think $80 would’ve been more logical to me, $100 max, but what do I know!?

For me, its about quality. These figures are way better looking than anything I've seen from Super7. I may just stop buying Super7 and collect Mondo at this point.

I don't like the look of them at all to be honest. The style is just not very appealing to me. He-Man's head looks too small for his body and Skeletor's head is strangely sticking out of his hood too far. I was excited when these were first announced but after seeing the final figures and especially the price they are an easy pass for me.

That said, Mer-Man looks phenomenal!

I'm still on the fence with these... On one hand, I like what they did with Mer-Man and Man-At-Arms a lot more than what they've done with Skeletor and He-Man, and on the other hand, you cannot only collect the side kicks without getting the major two characters of such property!

Not to mention the high price tag and the shady scheduling that Mondo has with this line thus far!... Are they really committed to release more characters, or are they gonna kill it like most company do when certain lines don't sell in the manner they expect them to perform?
