I've finally decided to abandon this toy line for the following reasons:

    - The Power-Con exclusive set just didn't sit with me well especially when it could've been offered for the non-attendees at Formo's website just like how the Four Horsemen usually do it.

    - Offering an overpriced PC exclusive (or any exclusives) before any products in hand for a first line of products from a totally new company sounded a little too ambitious for my taste!

    - While the figures look great, and relatively priced reasonably especially for a new company, they still don't offer me something extra or too special for me to look forward to, and certainly the limited articulations don't add to that extra appeal (for me at least). (Origins is currently more than enough for me to collect in this 5.5" scale)

    - It seems like the waiting time between the waves will be over a year (as expected), and right now I have a lot on my plate to worry about already...

Emiliano, if you're reading this, I'm very sorry bud, and I wish you the best with your new venture...

I don’t follow, are you referring to the MOTU Origins Snake Men 4 pack set?! If so, that set is $65 at BBTS which comes to $16.25 per figure; no where near what the LOD PC exclusive set sells for!

Those are just repaints of their single main two characters and the make extra figure you assemble if you get the whole line. They sell for $135 for the attendees and $142 for non-attendees, just imagine if they sell the 5+1 figure set like you’re suggesting and how much it will cost!

As much as me and my wallet wince & cringe at the price that will be the snake four pack, I want that more than said three pack.

So many thoughts, so little time. For me I'm just NOT excited enough to buy these characters in a three pack. Or even in a two pack. Single carded? Yes. And that's about it. A decent looking line but not worthy of a three pack.

Want a convention exclusive? Make 5 characters then quietly make a 6th one and make THAT one. Drums up support for the line and Power-Con.

So, this Power-Con exclusive today is being offered at PC's site for the non-attendees and the cost is $142.00 and the cheapest shipping option is UPS and it was listed at $91.31!!! LOL
So the total for me if I made the purchase would be $233.31 for recolored figures!

Of course I baled out and refused to complete this overly priced risky transaction which has a potential for unknown PC shenanigans, especially when the shipping won't likely happen before October or so according to their terms and conditions:

You understand and accept that Power-Con will attempt to ship all Non-Attendee pre-orders shipped within 60 days after Power-Con ends on August 13th, 2023. Power-Con will ship Non-Attendee orders sooner if possible. You understand and accept that how quickly Power-Con ships also depends on everything being in-stock. You understand and accept that there is always a possibility that there could be one or more factory delays, and that there may also be one or more delays in shipping. You understand and accept that if your order contains an item that has not yet arrived by the time Power-Con starts shipping orders, then Power-Con will wait until all items are in-stock before shipping your order.
I'd rather wait for BBTS to pick these up instead even though their asking price could be around $200 if not more (if that even happens!). Besides, Formo toys left a sour taste in my mouth for offering this set to PC to begin with, since I usually hate convention exclusives especially when the actual first wave of products haven't been delivered yet!

Now; I'm still debating if I wanna continue with my first early bird kit pre-order from BBTS or cancel it and lose the $22 deposit, and just focus on the other lines that I'm already invested in!

I hope the ones who aren't going like me, can get a shot at this without issues!
An update from Emiliano''s Facebook page in regards to those PC exclusives:

    Emiliano Santalucia

We are excited to announce that Power-Con exclusive Legends of Dragone three-pack pre-sales will begin Saturday, March 25th at 12:00pm (noon) Eastern time at Power-Con website:

Here are some of the most burning questions from the Power-Con newsletter:
    1. How limited are these exclusives?
    A. We cannot share production runs. But we can tell you that these are the most limited Power-Con exclusives to-date. That said, we have no idea how fast they will sell. They might sell out quick, they might take days or weeks, or they may last until the convention. We have no idea. So we suggest trying to jump our site the day pre-sales begin to make sure you secure yours.
    2. Are we paying in full or just reserving exclusives?
    A. All exclusives are paid in-full, at the time of your pre-order. The purchase will be charged to your account the moment you complete your transaction.
    3. Will these be available to Non-Attendees?
    A. At this time, the current plan is to offer these first to Attendees. Then if any are left over, they will be for sale at Power-Con. And if we still have some left over, those will be sold online, after the convention, to Non-Attendees. Please keep in mind those plans may change.

I agree, they look a little more like giraffe dragons!... Hopefully all the dragons will have those smaller neck attachments/segments.

I did notice that. I was thinking that myself.

Yeah.. I wonder why they chose this style of necks, however if you look closely, those necks are made from two sections which could allow for shorter neck display options... At least that's my guess here.

Hmm. Hadn't thought about that. To busy being distracted by the Rattlor neck.

The Dragons are an interesting concept, but not a huge fan of that design. I definitely prefer the regular figures more.

BTW, Formo just announced the pre-orders on wave one is open again for a limited time due to a "overwhelming demand", so if you've missed it earlier and still considering investing in this line here's your chance:

Also you still can do the same thing from BBTS:
BigBadToyStore has a massive selection of toys (like action figures, statues, and collectibles) from Marvel, DC Comics, Transformers, Star Wars, Movies, TV Shows, and More

My main question is, if a new tiny company like Formo is ambitious enough and willing to put out dragons in their second wave, why in hell Mattel is so cautious with their logistics when it comes to Origins, and not doing more vehicles, playsets, beasts, environments and totally new stuff after all those waves that have been released!?

Just do the goddamn online pre-orders via MC, BBTS, EE and whatnot and let us support the line and make us happy without dragging on and on until we get shocked with the line's sudden cancellation!

I wonder if these necks split into two smaller sections?... So you can pose these dragons like Draego-Man.
