I use my phone so the best way I can describe finding new posts is to go on the main header that has all the forums and scroll down past them. It should have all new posts and replies in order of last to first. Here's a link hopefully of the whole list... https://forum.hemanworld.com/search?r=932867

BTW Barbaro still looks like he-man in the face but has way cooler accessories now IMO.

Also btw. Dot Borg + Toxic = nuclear. Hmmm who'd a thunk it ?!?

    Huh, that bad?!!!
Probably most of the reasonable MOTU fans left the forums platform and went somewhere else… However online interactions are progressing from bad to worse whenever people keep losing their real life social skills without repercussions to hold them accountable for their behaviors and badly manners…

NONONONONONONONO! It was much, much, much worse than Scott and the Classics line. I know "toxic" gets thrown around a lot but that is a word that could be used but atomic, hostile and volatile now spring to my mind to describe it.
NOW, as much and easy as I could go in another direction I won't. That's another thread for another time.

Hmm, this sounds like the typical Org, at least since the Classics days with Neitlich at the helm when he was around! LOL

People have different opinions on a lot of stuff, but with this new “woke” PC culture it became somehow fascist even if you criticize something politely and constructively. How dare you?!!!… People are so brainwashed with ideologies these days to a point where they cannot think critically for themselves anymore!

I heard from some online sources that Revelation is getting a second season called Revolution, and it’s going to be He-Man/Skeletor focused! That remains to be seen…

As for the new 3D stuff, it’s very very different, but very well done in my humble opinion.

When I was a kid, I used to make my own stories and adventures while playing or making art, and they were also influenced by the early mini comics, but they were still my own adventures! When I saw Filmation and MYP as an adult, I thought one was brilliant, and the other one was very campy and too silly for what I used to think of MOTU back in the day, yet I loved the background art and appreciated it for what it was, but it wasn’t my MOTU!

With the new series, I have different and mixed feeling about the two shows, but they won’t let me hate the franchisee because someone in Hollywood doesn’t know how to write or direct a good story for those characters!

In short, it’s all about your experience and your own thoughts and feelings. Disregards all the other shit that doesn’t make you happy or satisfied.

No. I don't. That's intentional. He-Man Revelation really caused great discourse over there. Caused a great divide. Made people rabid. Perhaps even showing their true colors. So I just stepped back and away. Kind of reluctant? Scared? apprehensive? all the above? to go back. He-Man is supposed to bring us together NOT divide us. If I was in a position to go to a Power-Con I wouldn't want to go. I don't want to be around those people. Apparently I'm not allowed to hate something because something precious to me from my childhood got severely violated. Apparetnly I'm not allowed to have an opinion on it. Apparently I'm supposed to agree with the other side. Meanwhile "Val" is letting this all happen. All of "Val's" men is letting this happen. I don't have Netflix and that was my He-Man. That other new toon isn't my He-Man. Whatever platform that is on. On the other site I still go by Midor. I still get posting notices. I haven't given up on the franchise. Last weekend I got a deluxe Beastman. Because, why not? Things went wrong. I don't know if things will get bad with the new season. I'm scared to know.

Of course, this is why we have this board for... Sharing info and opinions.

BTW, I know you used (or still) visit the other forum as well, and I haven't been there in a long while, so is there anything new that could be interesting to check out over there?

Here is dead, and I'm not enthused anymore to post news or updates around here anymore for the obvious reasons.

Thanks. I knew it. It was a matter of time for it to be pointed out to me. But I had to mention it.

Emiliano already hinted this info in the interview he did with FOP a while back without mentioning the name of the company "Mattel".

The initial design of Barbaro was a paying homage to Mark Taylor's and Tony Guerrero's prototype of He-Man, which Mattel apparently owns legally somehow!
Also Keldor's design looked way too close what Oskuro was like!... So that's why Formo had to upgrade their designs to this new format! They might even revisit the "Adversary" with a newer look in the next waves if/when they happen.

The new look is much better IMHO.

As I type this I'm watching "Pixel" Dan's video of Masterverse's New He-Man, and I saw an interesting comment. And it's new to me. And news to me.

Since I'm not a Facebook or twitter guy I may be a bit behind on things. And I don't go digging for info or juicy tidbits.

I'll summarize and para phrase it. Mattel sent a cease and desist letter in regards to the Barbaro figure.

EE on rare occasions get their stuff earlier than BBTS when it comes to MOTU, but after dealing with both, I'd prefer the BBTS.
In my experience EE was a good option for getting the Classics Snake Mountain.

Well it's worth pointing out I think that EE has cancelled my Origins pre-orders twice now, but BBTS has come through on 1/2 and the 2nd is still pending.

  • Mechanizor

I bit the bullet and order the early kit from BBTS, since I didn't have to pay the full amount, just a $22 downpayment for now, besides the markup wasn't too bad, only $20 (10%) for the whole set.
If things go wrong for some reason, BBTS is more reliable and has been around for a while.

Just got the e-mail myself. The usual BBTS markup, but you can also buy them individually at about $33 apiece.

  • Mechanizor

They're also available to order from BBTS, and I might do that since I don't have to pay the full amount in advance... Still debating it.

    So apparently pre-orders are open:

    https://www.formotoys.com/shop

You can only buy the figures as a complete set.

For $180 (which comes out to $25 per figure) you can get all the figures, or for $200 you can get all the figures, plus some cardboard junk (background and character sheets of some sort?) and a poster.

The new figures look pretty cool. I'd certainly display those with my vintage MOTU figures.

I agree that the common social media is cancer, but if you avoid reading the comments and other crap, they are good quick headliners for what's going on.
Instagram is good for posting quick headliners and promos...

Social media is cancer, so no. I have not. The only accounts I have are old school forums like this one and a youtube account.
