I wasn't expecting to say this, but I honestly like this, it reminds of 200X mixed with Transformers Cyberverse, a silly amalgamation but looks rather interesting and fresh. I wish He-Man was wearing his fury loincloth instead of the long tights...

This show is meant for today's younger kids who grew up on mobile apps, ADHD and Netflix cartoons and video games, this funky style was somehow expected, it's actually much better than what I was expecting thus far!

The other cartoon is the "adult" oriented one, and looks a lot like Castlevania in style.

Yeah, for me it’s all about what they did to Battle Cat. The helmet looks more like a cross between a bicycle helmet and a hockey goalie mask with a cage. I wasn’t exactly the biggest fan of 200x’s Battle Cat’s UFC gloves he wore over his paws already, but then they had to dial it up all the way to 11 with this look and give him two Infinity Gauntlets with spikes on his front paws and those spiked boots on his hind legs. The armour is just overkill with plating seemingly everywhere. That Battle Cat looks more like a Voltron robotic lion rather than a living creature.

He-man is not so bad IMO, the proportions are all screwy, but not surprising for 2021. And I don’t mind the outfit, considering it’s designed for today’s kids.
But that Battle Cat? Unforgivable

I think that's exactly what they're shooting for, they're after the audience of Transformers, Gormiti and Voltron... I know it's over the top stylistically, but let's just wait and see how it goes.

After all, we still have the cheesy Filmation to enjoy!
