  • Cameo characters and vehicles in the Revelation teaser trailer.

So who and what was in the teaser trailer other than Castle Grayskull, Zoar, He-Man, Prince Adam, Skeletor, Orko, Beast Man, Battle Cat/Cringer, Stridor, Roton?

Fisto, regular Teela, Clamp Champ and Eternian Guards:

    Evil Robot knights:

    Bashasaurus

    Land Shark and Clawful:

    Evil-Lyn:

The Sorceress and what it appear to be Faker who was disgusted as He-Man:

    Bearded Man-at-Arms:

    Trap-Jaw and regular Man-at-Arms:

Mer-Man and and some aquatic soldier of sort:

    Roboto:

    Scare Glow:

    Skelcons:

    Tri-Klops with long hair:

    Whiplash:

I think there were two periods of Eternian history appeared in the trailer, because this is the official synopsis:

A radical return to Eternia, REVELATION is a direct sequel series to the classic era of MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE. Featuring fan favorites He-Man, Orko, Cringer, and Man-At-Arms, the story pits our heroic warriors and guardians of Castle Grayskull against Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, Beast Man and the vile legions of Snake Mountain! But after a ferocious final battle forever fractures Eternia, it’s up to Teela to solve the mystery of the missing Sword of Power in a race against time to prevent the end of the Universe! Her journey will uncover the secrets of Grayskull at last. This is the epic He-Man and the Masters of the Universe saga fans have waited 35 years to see!
And we haven't seen this type of Teela in it:

I'm not sure what's up with that Teela and I don't actually care either but the more I read the more it sounds like He-man is going to be sidelined by Teela.

Here's the prequal comic and it's synopsis...

I don't see how you get that idea from this summary. I know that rumor has been going around for over a year but let's be honest here. Mattel has a much greater hand in this series than in the She-Ra, with two toy lines featuring He-man do you really think they would let the main character be sidelined for an entire series? I can see maybe an episode or two but not the entire run.

As for the trailer I was excited to see things like the Bashasaurs and Landshark, things that never made it into the Filmation series

I hope it doesn't last more than a couple episodes. I'm not up to speed on all the rumors. I've avoided them actually because I don't care about agendas or whatever. I just want a good He-man cartoon.

But why it seems to me like He-man will be sidelined ( even if only a couple episodes)

"it’s up to Teela to solve the mystery of the missing Sword of Power in a race against time to prevent the end of the Universe! "

To save Randor and put an end to the chaos He-Man embarks on an epic journey that pits him against his longtime foes Skeletor and Evil-Lyn, and sees Teela take the reins of a powerful legacy.

There is also a chance of what was shown in the trailer (fights and battles) are Teela's stories and her memories from the past while she's on her new quest to reunite the heroes and solve the mystery of the missing Sword of Power!?...
And that could also explain why Teela has two different looks here, and the appearance of the bearded Man-at-Arms with the cape and the regular Man-at-Arms!

re: sees Teela take the reins of a powerful legacy.

I assume it is her becoming the next Sorceress.

That's very possible but I don't think she'll become the sorceress in a prelude comic. I'm sure they will save that for the show. (Unless that is her in the trailer as sorceress)

I think she may find out about who her mom is or find out her destiny. She might even find out who he-man is, or even randor and keldor being brothers. It is a prelude after all.

I guess my fear is that while developing Teela they will leave adam out of the story either in a suspended animation or time displacement or something along those lines.

I'm an oolar origins fan of he-man but even I say that Adam deserves some character growth and development too..if he-man is just sidelined for a few episodes then great. I hope that came out respectfully and clarifies a little more!

No matter what the plot is, I'm sure most people wanna see epic battles between the major characters we all happen to know and love... Suspense and solving mysteries aren't the type of stories you wanna see majorly in MOTU, it's fine if they wanna add some spice to the show but I think "action" must be the major selling point here.

Honestly, I don't wanna see adult drama and politics taking over and ruining the show for me...

I had a thought and I may be way off base here What if the "Missing Power Sword" isn't the same one Adam uses? What if Smith is bringing in the mini-comic idea of He-man only having half the true Power Sword?

This theory would work if Skeletor has the other half of the sword after him wining the last battle and Adam couldn't become He-Man anymore with only half of the Power Sword in position, and Teela went on her quest to find it for him!... It's a probable plot, and I wonder if Mattel has this 'idea' planned from the start!?

Also from the teaser trailer, I think the He-Man we saw wearing the tunic and riding Stridor is actually Faker, where Skeletor was using him to get into Castle Grayskull and capture the Sorceress for a specific reason!... Finding the other half of the sword perhaps?!!!

BTW, that scene where Faker was holding the Sorceress, you can see Stridor standing in the far right corner of the background while Faker is getting blown apart!

Here's something cool IMO. Still don't know how to properly ebb after all these years. Check it out!

What could make the Masters of the Universe: Revelation trailer more perfect? How about some vintage Dolph Lundgren He-Man action.

The two half of the Power Sword theory might actually part of the Revelation story after all!

Apparently Trap-Jaw (scarred) is also part of the technology cult that Tri-Klops is leading or managing, he's wearing the same outfit in this segment:
